Now that I switched my team back to phoenix and colossus I'm 50% on defense. It's amazing what a difference the right hero combination is.

Gifts are the only way that's usually what I spend all my 50 daily limits on. Shield Points are really important so make sure you keep building up...

The ID for your ticket is just your Player ID, like mine is JCman7 that's all they need. You do have a number I think if you didn't change it.
