Well, in their defense, if you "hover" (hold) over an icon in settings, it'll tell you what the option is.
Try messing with the control settings, perhaps?

These are super niche titles. I highly doubt anyone buying them on sale or at full price is thinking "Hey, this looks nice. Why not?"

Just chiming in. Super solid game that's in need of the two stupidest things: 1) That app icon doesn't do the game's killer pixel art justice....
