The is an elf (I think in the north area of the map) who has a quest for you, she opens a portal so you can proceed. Edit: East*
Actually, I don't like slender-like games as much. The woods was the only slender-like game that scared me.... Lol
You have to give an "offering" (a food/potion item) by dropping it in the space in front of it.
Idk, I never actually never got that spell... Maybe it was more for elf characters? It doesn't take very long to get from Alestane to the starting...
Elf lands, there is a portal to it in the Keep of Alestane
