The game is almost certainly being pirated at a rate higher then 2 to 1 since many purchasers (and perhaps even pirates) don't use Game Center.

The developer could fix the camera for new users but leave an option in to revert to the "classic" (broken) camera angle for the veterans.

Note the supported device limitations on this one folks, as mentioned in the app description. For instance, it does not work on an iPad 3.
To be honest, judging from the video, neither the gameplay or the graphics look that interesting. That may be why you have received no feedback.
