I'd call that a minor annoyance. In multiplayer mode just uncheck "With Sponsors" in the race/tracks/tier menu and you won't see that screen any more.

Both versions (HD and non-HD) were already on 79¢ sales several times (and will be in the future).
Asphalt 7: Heat. Simply the best. A steal for $.99. Try local multiplayer if you (or your friends) have more than one iOS device. It's a blast!
