    Hello everyone,

I'm a dev from Lavafish Studios and I'm on a mission to find more Squirmee and the Puzzling Tree fans. If you enjoy puzzle games and are looking for a challenge then Squirmee and the Puzzling Tree is the game you want. Below are 20 promo codes for those who are up for some puzzling fun. Take the code and enjoy the game, all we ask is that if you do like the game please rate the game 5 stars in the App Store.

We have 75 more levels to develop for Squirmee but the only way we'll be able to do it is if we get community support. So, if you like the game, give it a 5, if not then enjoy the FREE present and have a great day.

    Thanks,
    Lavafish Studios

When a mysterious tree bursts from the earth and takes poor little Pink up with it, it’s up to her big brother, Squirmee, to come to her rescue!

    ★ THE GAMEPLAY
Squirmee and the Puzzling Tree was best described by Thorin Klowoski of Touch Arcade when he said, "[it] is a lot like Super Meat Boy flipped on its head. Instead of controlling an avatar, you're controlling the environment, but the same perfectly timed actions are required."

    ★ THE GAME SPECS
    * 75 fun and puzzling levels (more coming soon)

    * Color-based obstacles, each color represents a different challenge for Squirmee to overcome.

    * Easy controls, simply Tap or Slide your finger across the screen!

    * A step-by-step tutorial teaches you how to play, so you can dive right into the game without hesitation.

    * 4 leaderboards to compete against your friends (and the world) on.

    * 10 achievements to keep you playing again and again.

    * 3 unique worlds to go through, from Earth to Ice and finally to FIRE!!!

    * Comical boss fights give you a fun challenge at the end of each world.

Also agree with the above. Great game. On the hard side, especially getting used to the controls, but definately pick this up!

Thanks, picked up W7JJYAJMRWWH. Leaving a placeholder review. Also, I know it's easier for devs to just dump codes in a single post, but that's just making it too easy for the lurkers. And it will usually not get you any extra reviews or feedback. If the dev will take a little time and make it a PM only giveaway he will always know who took the codes and he can keep out the lurkers.

    Review posted as Heliotropist.

    Thanks everyone!

@sapphire_neo: Thanks for the advice, for whatever reason I didn't think that was allowed...plus I was counting on people being honest. But, perhaps next time I'll do it that way!

Cool, it seems all the codes are gone, thanks everyone for giving Squirmee a shot and I hope you enjoy it. Hopefully many more levels will be coming in the near future :)

That's not really any better, considering that the majority of TA members who ask for codes don't provide any feedback or reviews either, and are just pushing for the PM method as a way of reducing their competition. Assigning some kind of small task (like the Aerox "tell a ball-related joke" promo) would be even better than a simple PM, as you'll still need to be a TA member to participate, and you'll have to do something visible for that code (however trivial). Keeping track of who has actually provided feedback might also help for future giveaways.

Removing the promo code "dump" lists is probably a good idea, however, as I know one particular TA member who makes an appearance in virtually every promo code thread has started taking multiple codes from those lists, apparently not realising that the idea behind these codes isn't just so he can pad out all his devices with free games.

I didn't mean PM as in PM the dev for a code. I meant like twitter/facebook promotion and filtering by post count etc, then dev PMs the participants that pass the test.

Ahhh, good info, we're new on the indie dev scene and self promotion...But we plan on making many more games so we'll definitely take on some better tactics for next time.

Excellent! I'm glad you like it, our plans for the next 75 levels are very exciting, we're going to kick it up a notch...it should be fun :)

Oh and thanks very much for the review, each good one helps bring us closer to getting the financials we need to keep making Squirmee (and other games too). So it is totally appreciated :D

I'm totally loving this game! It seems like a cute little puzzler but it's really challenging and that's great. So many iOS puzzlers are missing a real challenge. The levels are really well designed too and of course, it's universal.
