http://www.apple.com/support/usbadapter/exchangeprogram/ Since I don't have an iphone but an ipod touch I can't exchange it via the web like iphone 3G users can. So instead my only option is go to a store (don't be stupid and lose it having to trade it in) or via support telephone. - Wait for 3 mins for person on hold. - Talk for 1 min and get directed to India - Evidently they don't have access to Order Number nor Sales Ref Number that I gave them. So that's useless information. Kept getting grilled on what's wrong and I kept saying cuz Apple recalled it. - 18 mins later after giving ipod touch serial # etc. name, etc. he starts processing it. - Spell recall for me (no I'm not making this stuff up) R-E-C-A-L-L - 22 min later got American "Product Specialist" ...8 mins later processed. Told him no mine doesn't have little green sticker. - only 30 mins to exchange Apple USB Ultracompact Power Adapter Something is extremely wrong with their exchange method. Yea I gave them my ipod touch serial number but still I honestly don't think they tied this exchange to my account. I had to give them my name and address to ship it to. Not once was my account evidently pulled up. Sure it's tied to my ipod but they never were able to verify my order like I said and I think it's scouts honor. Anyone with an ipod touch could call in and get one. To me they need to give there ipod repair facility access to sales data. Extremely flawed system they have there.
i know what you mean i hate talking to those guys they always transfer you to some foreign guy you cant understand...i gotta call them tomorrow and ask how to fix my internet so that it will work on my ipod again...
