it's like commandos for the iphone! I'll be getting this the moment it hits the appstore! Good luck guys!
So, I don't have the skillz that others have. Highest I have achieved is 155. New map is awesome. I don't know how to get the mortars to activate - have a super high score? New voices are GREAT. Background music adds a lot. Powerups tend to be in the middle of the map, and are not always easily accessible - I seem to ignore them, unless the person is coming from the back and has to go through the middle - generally not worth turning around for, or even making a detour for.. The spawning should be more equal along all routes I think. Should change the tutorial next and back on the sides to arrows - makes you think that pressing next will do a page change rather than a swipe page change. Dramatic overall improvement though. No glitches encountered yet from me. How do we open up locked content? Consider a popup screen that tells requirements when you try and press on locked content.
Gotta agree with the above post. The new music and voices are awesome additions to what is turning out to be a fantastic line-drawing application. And I love the attention to detail. This game will set itself apart from the pack, I'm sure. Back to playing.
Thanks! We'll be submitting the game within 14 days. You can follow us on twitter (http://twitter.com/craneballs) for the freshest info. We are also sometimes running contests and giving out promo codes.
Gotta reiterate something: the voices and funky music are outstanding additions and really make this game unique. Now, maybe I haven't heard anything, but I'd really appreciate a sound for when I'm actually drawing the line, like in Harbor Master. I know this isn't Harbor Master, but some kinda "Left-Right" voiceover would be nice. Overall, I'm impressed. To see where the game began and where it is now is awesome.
Yea strategy game like Commandos would be awesome on iPhone, although this one isn't bad neither I suggest you getting this one, while waiting for Commandos for iPhone
Hi STUD, we really appreciate your feedback and also that you wish us success. We will fix the glitches for sure! BTW. thanks for adding an info at your blog.
Hiya Craneballs, so far, very awesome update, love the new map and gameplay elements. I just have 1 suggestion, and that is to add music while you are playing the game itself. Suggestions for music (if the copyright has expired, or you can somehow get the rights I guess): Kiss me goodnight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH8tZ9mhoK0 We'll meet again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHcunREYzNY It's a long way to tipperary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVM-tFAdADg Oh, How I Hate to get up in the Morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71smG5d29to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wiVkdVPGoY&feature=fvw Way Back Home: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fp-uP6sT_Dg I don't want to set the world on fire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j15Uee_mL3A&feature=related
Thanks for the tip, but we rather stick with what we have in there now. Because constant music could be annoying after a while. We've tried it.
I hope I get there.. Anyway to open the locked maps? Or is that a secret? You can PM me... or e-mail me?
About the unlocking... From the start you will only have CAEN unlock, then after reaching 250 points TORINO unlocks, after 250 points in TORINO REIMS unlocks and then PILSEN. But in this beta only 2 maps are included... And already unlocked. That's nice... Can't wait to have a look at the global scoreboard. Now THE_STUD is leading...
I'm owning Reims at the mo 374 Time Mode and 501 Life Mode Is no-one else testing this latest build? cos i'm not that good
Absolutely loving this game, it just is such a refresh of the draw path game. Only played through each mode on both maps once, so I got some playing to do, hopefully I'll reach mortar, and see what thats about.
hey craneballs, I have been eyeing this thread for a while and just wondering when this is going to be submitted
I wish there was an emoticon with razzberries.... I would put several in this post. I suck at this game... However, the good side is that I still enjoy it, and come back to it- so even the folks that don't do that well, will still have fun. Still no testing errors that I have found, and the game runs much more smoothly then I remember in the past. Its easy drawing lines around the buildings, and the game is smart enough to move you across bridges when you get close - or around the huts it just keeps you hugged along the sides. It is really coming together nicely. Craneballs aren't beta testers supposed to get god mode or something???
