Finally got the mortar fire around 180 or so? Really cool. Adds some more challenge and suspension. Not an easy game though. On the maps are those scores absolute scores to open them , or cumulative? I would suggest cumulative scores , since locked content can add to a game, but for some people, maybe me? I would never get to those scores in one game. Or you could do an either or. Say 1000 points cumulative, or 250 in 1 game. Some people - a lot of people are going to take a while to get high scores, and if it is too long, they'll quit trying. Just my thoughts. Continues to be a lot of fun.
Having played some more, I wish there were things to hide behind. I also wish my soldiers could use weapons. A rampage mode would be awesome. Maybe in upcoming updates?
Hiding by dropping down works pretty good. Im not sure about your guys killing off the other soldiers. That was sort of discussed earlier with some of the powerups - there was a lot of discussion about having something that would take out one of the soldiers. Nothing came of it though. I still think that taking out one of their soldiers might be a reasonable power up icon though. With like 20 sec before a respawn.
the only weapon type idea that I think would work might be a mine...have a powerup you walk over to pick up a mine and a button appears on the screen, press it again before your soldier gets to home base to drop the mine on that spot and the soldier continues on the path you've drawn
Just noticed something the past two games I've played. So I draw a line for one soldier. A new soldier comes into play and the previous line I drew goes away. Is it a glitch. Maybe it's me. But you may wanna check that out. Think I know what happens... The guy hits something in the environment and the line path is broken. Is this supposed to happen? Just got my best score: 123 on Life Mode (Reims). Huzzah!
Can't wait for this game! I think it will be another great line drawing game. The concept is awesome and the sound fx are awesome!
I've been eyeing this topic for a while, looks like a fun addition to the line drawing genre, there's a good chance I'll be buying this. Are there any updates planned already or does that depend on sales/feedback?
Well, I don't know, but from testing the game, I have to say that it is the best line drawing game yet by far.
Stop rubbing it in . are there different types of soldiers? Like some fast ones? And can there be like generals with guns to shoot down enemy patrollers?
So far there are three unit types; Regular soldiers who give only one point. Medics, who move faster and give 2 points. And Ganerals, who move slowly but give three points. There are also some very interesting twists later in the game, but I don't know how much I'm allowed to tell you...
Also, there are various 'powerups' that do various things such as points multipliers, becoming invisible, and freezing enemies.
Thanks for the info, in this post and the last. I seriously think this game could reach number one. It looks amazing. As MidianGTX asked, will it be updated?
That I don't know. I personally think craneballs will update the game, and support it for a while, but I'm not certain. It would be great though.
Hi, thanks everybody for support! We have for sure some interesting ideas for more twists in game, like airborne of your troops. We might even consider the ability of your soldiers to kill enemy. And of course new maps. But for now, we want to get it out ASAP.
