      My brand new shiny 3GS - bought today - is having some serious 3G connection issues. I don't have any coverage in house, apart from some minor fluctuations. I've tried everything, from carrier resets, holding it by the edges,
      putting scotch tape on the sim, turning off 3G and even putting it in the freezer(WTF?). I'm in Ireland, on an O2 network. It has nothing to do with the network, since my SonyEricsson has a solid 4 bars all over the house.

      Anyone else experiencing any problems?

      nope but I suggest you return it and see if it's the defective one alright?

      I'm from the uk and get probs evey now and again with o2 sig
      but on the whole it's quite good. Try putting it in airplane mode, then back.
      If that don't work id get it checked out if I was you fella
