The one thing I hate about Gameloft... They reuse art assets from all of their franchises. I'd love to see Nova actually take place in a world which actually looks alien...with terrain, vistas and a color palette more like Halo Reach's... Every Gameloft game also seems to have the same stupid palm trees... Design a new tree!
Agreed. They really need to change their style of reusing assets, but this game doesn't look like another reused asset and it's using shadow's guardian's engine that is very gorgeous and powerful. So they shan't use nova's engine or unreal engine, because then all games will be almost the same...
Holy Crap! The highlight of this game(at least to me!) seems like competitive multiplayer. Getting this before the month is over.. Hands down! At least I hope so.... Gonna watch the vid over just for kicks!
I must say, I also think the multiplayer mode look excellent. I have a feeling that 9mm will arrive next week. I wonder when, though, we'll hear more about Silent Ops?!...and March of Heroes...
Multiplayer looks so freaking sweet! I am not worthy of the awesomeness included in 9mm. P.S: the maps look huge. It appears as if buildings are enterable during the matches. Oh and 16 weapons?!!?!!!
Map 1: A gang warehouse or whatever. In one of the hands on videos from touch gen. Map 2: A run down motel area. Map 3: Police Station Map 4: A sunny gang hideout. Kind of disappointed the strip club wasn't a mp map but it's ok.
Some things I noticed from the video. 0:20 seconds - crouching/cover?? 0:36 seconds - sniper rifle 0:37 seconds - golden gun! 0:38 seconds - yes there's a grenade launcher 0:47 seconds - some achievements The multiplayer looks like it's gonna be great! Though I am a a bit dissapointed that there's only 2 modes.
I just hope the multiplayer doesn't feel like it did in Rainbow Six. As long as they learned their lesson there, this should be amazing.
I love Rainbow Six multiplayer! I'm always on top. XD This definitely looks much much better though.. With a gang of guns, explosives, and 2 modes.. Should be awsome. Few things to add to thethinice's list: 0:10 - camping near spawn? 0:14 - shooting through walls?! 0:30 - shooting in mid-air during roll 0:38 - reckless team kill 0:41 - explodable car? And dual wield weapons
im thinking i will be released a few days after the next gameloft podcast so probably two weeks my money is on the 20th
