Actually, yeah- the more i think of it, the more i'd like for this game to have a really focused story mode- maybe even to the extent that sandbox-style content isn't as well-developed or expansive. (Not that i'm saying i don't want the freedom as well, but a really good story mode will definitely benefit 9mm.
I kind of agree with you. Sort of, just a little. But the top ten doesn't really matter. It doesn't matter what the App Store is run by. The App Store is so great because of the variety of games it has and the different types. It ranges from games like Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds to Dead Space, GTA, and Lego Harry Potter. I have all five of those games. And I play them at different times. Sometimes I'm in the mood for GTA and long gaming sessions, but sometimes I feel like killing 10 minutes with Doodle Jump. That's what's so great about the app store. The variety of apps and games.
Hey Lee, did you play the game because you're a journalist? If so, what website is it you went to Gameloft on behalf of?
That's funny! A kid being horrified at swearing! Unfortunately, these days, the only way that could happen would be if the kid was brought up in a cave, or he was Amish! This game looks sweet, though. We'll see how it controls.
I hope I didn't get anyones hopes up too much by mentioning Heavy Rain. But when you interrogate people, you get a the typical Hit this now-kind of qt-event that Gameloft often uses, and also you have the words "buzzing" around the guy (like in HR) but need to hit those to get the answers you want. Somehow I just liked the story, something in it just worked for me. Perhaps the cops not being all good, but stashing away some of the cash from raids to use it for crime fighting etc.
In all honesty, I post on a different website on EastSideBoxing and that is full of erm... unpleasant people so if you post on there for a few months you assume everybody is a huge d*ck. And that is why I got so annoyed, I did call people kids and immature and whatnot, but I was hardly proved wrong by some of the idiotic responses I got. And I said the crying comment because I was absolutely shocked that people were taking it so personally. Anyway. I don't hate iOS games. If you look at the AppStore and read some of the reviews you see, I mean there are people that voted GTA ChinaTown wars with 1 star because they couldn't skip cutscenes, its those sort of people I was aiming those comments at! I apologise if I was too broad on my choice of words and offended people that weren't supposed to be offended.
Nice enough graphics, but it looks like Gameloft's take on Max Payne but with a different setting/story.
So you have a choice of what to do with the guy, right? Different things to do like punch him in the face, shoot him in the foot, etc. Do the interrogations interact with the environment? For example, you shove the person under a window and slam it on them, or threaten to throw them completely out of it? Kinda like the game Punisher?
Updated the first post with the two videos that were released over the last few days. Sorry I can't join the fight against Shush, but I was away the last few days and don't have the time to read these posts now.
