Yeah, I liked the slower pace and feel of Indigo NOTIONS but believe me it wasn't easy getting that score I posted despite being slower paced. it was definitely still quite challenging.
The slower style pace gives indigo notions a unique and relaxing feel. The balls are weighted perfectly and the slow speed of the balls doesn't make it to hard to beat, but at the same time it doesn't make it to easy. My only problem with the level is the orange fire balls. They should not be able to pass the bottom line and then return to kill me. If they were bigger it wouldn't be a problem, but since they are tiny you have to get a perfect shot and hope you live. Right now indigo notions gets a 4 while bubblegum odyssey gets a 4.5 and ether vision gets a 5. Edit: btw i have been meaning to ask: where do you come up with these names?? They are cool, but completely random.
We had a major brainstorming session and tried to come up with names which evoked the feel of the level, but gave a groovy, 70s vibe. It turns out our lead Concept and Technical artists (Ben & Pedro) were the best at picking out names .
Buzzzzzzz..... Note: Our scores don't technically count seeing as how we are "testes" (or as we are called around the office: The Brother's "B") for Puppy Punch. Regardless, in the spirit of the game, we decided to also post. and
No date yet! Right now we're doing a beta of the game and trying to incorporate the given feedback before we plan a release date.
I doubt it would work. There would have to be several waves or levels for each theme and they could introduce each obstacle on different levels. But i can't think of a story for the story mode.
