Dang i just posted my new high score 1:55 and its already beat XD goodjob ^_^b . It was awesome i had like 10 falling balls dropping on my head and i shot the first one (when it was like 1 inch from hitting me) and it blasted every other ball back and away saving me
haha thanks. I died cause of the opposite. I had like a wall of balls on top of me. a ball came down, hit the top one, and even though I was shooting them, they all came down on my head. --___--

Good but a little bit difficult to survive. Just installed in on my iPad 1 for the v0.8.2c, played it for a few hours, on the train and at home. I liked the improved game in version c (the floating and the sinking balls), but as other have mentioned, it is slightly difficult to survive the game, the longest I can survive is 1 min 11 sec. A reduced spawn number of balls might be great so that the player can survive longer, and therefore more engaged to the game. Not too sure how is it for now (haven't been survive more than 2 minutes), but a 'boss' level can be introduce every minute or so. Perhaps the 'boss' ball is falling slowly, but strong (like the skull ball but at a slower speed, and not so many), so the user will be able to aware that they have survived to the boss level. Also, a 'slow-mo' feature might be good to add, so the user will have a chance to survive from those fast falling balls, rather than instantly kill off the player. If the main objective of the game is to survive from the falling balls, perhaps some power-ups can be included as well? They can fall normally like a ball, but when the user's bullet hit them, they can have different effect, like faster bullet speed, unlimited bullets, kill off skull balls, freeze the balls etc. It will be more fun if the user have some way to escape the incoming threat and survive through the stage. About the bullets, I am not too sure but I am having issue to fire the heavy bullet in the correct direction I want. It seems following the direction of the second finger (if not mistaken), but I am still having difficulty to release it in the correct direction I want. Perhaps a new bullet firing mechanism should be considered? And I would also suggest to give the player an option to turn on an arrow guide on the bullet firing, so the user can effortless know that where the bullets are going, currently it is a little bit confusing (at least for me). Ah, lastly, the stage selection screen isn't too smooth for me, I can see a slight lag when I am scrolling through the stages. I see the potential fun of the game, but a heavy optimization and tweak has to be done for sure. Hopefully you guys see my suggestion helpful.
Hey guys! Please check out version 0.8.3 and let us know what you think of gameplay compared with version 0.8.2c. A lot of the spawner system has changed and we need to know if this more puzzle based version is more or less fun than the previous version! It is much easier to get a high time now but is just as fun as before. Also i noticed that you finally put a screen with the puppypunch logo on it. Edit: still sort of laggy when there was ice blocks all over (which was awesome). Also a new record of 3:30
Got it installed and i see good improvement. Finally it is easier to survive more than 2 minutes now, but the frame rate seems to be dropping from 0.8.2c, it is playable but not smooth. The stage selection is really pretty laggy for me. Not too sure if I am seeing it right, but the bullet (especially in heavy mode) isn't in a complete round shape, seems to be a bit cut off, perhaps the scale mode caused it? I like the Puppy Punch logo anyway! Keep improving!
VERY IMPORTANT TO THE DEV!!! I just started the game on my 2nd gen iTouch and the screen just went WHITE! Just WHITE! The timer still continued though. Apparently I lasted 27 seconds.
I saw the same thing on my 3gs it went white for a couple sec and then the game came back up also everytime i start a game the screen lights up (like gets whiter) and the bullets at the bottom go completely white then it goes back like it should. Edit just tried to get a screenshot so i took one went to check the photo restarted the app and then paused the game and pressed escape and now it is stuck like i am paused but with no buttons. (not really a big deal since i was leaving but...)
NVM. I think there are too many blue that turn green balls. Those are very annoying and I feel there are too many too soon. I actually liked the skull balls too. I feel that it was more fun before. My score hasn't improved either, so I feel that if you took out some blue/green balls and put in more skull balls, it would be more fun. IDK if this is popular opinion, but it's mine. also, menus are definitely laggy.
