Somebody send a glitch report to that email he gave us a couple pages ago. For some reason when i send one it says it failed to be delivered.

    Also anybody beat 3:30 yet?

  2. The game seems to be slower on my iPhone 4 than the previous build.

Ok for some reason I am unable to play the latest beta. When I select the level to play a white screen comes up and the game is going on while I can't see anything?! 2nd gen iPod touch.

Yup. Same thing for me. I already reported it to the dev. He said it should be fixed in the next beta.

I still think the game (or the level) is too hard.

Also, when pausing the game, it lags.

    My top is 1:10. Yours?

Hm. We have a time slowdown effect on pause, are you talking about that or something else?

For me, sometimes my taps aren't registered. Quite frustrating, I have to turn my device to the other side and tap again.

    Version 0.8.3b

    More Questions:
    1. Are the menus & touch controls in the menu still laggy?
    2. How does bubblegum ODYSSEY feel now? Tomorrow we will unveil a new theme to you guys, so we need lots of feedback on bubblegum ODYSSEY now!
    3. How do you PLAY? Do you use 2 fingers and tap to fire big balls or do you hold one finger down, and then tap somewhere else on the screen to launch a big ball in that stream. Which do you like better for phones? Which for tablets?

    Important Questions for 2G USERS:
    1. How does the new, new shader work. Is the game running better? Do you still get the glitch where everything goes white?

Once again, thanks to everyone for your feedback! We're taking it into account everyday and rapidly iterating on it. We can't wait till you see the next theme :).

I always use my little balls unless you get the skull ones. Much easier with big balls there, seeing as 1-2 does the trick. But for other ones, little balls are faster.

    1. The menus are better now, but i still have a little lag between the level select and the game.

    2. I like bubblegum ODYSSEY it has a lot of nice and basic looking balls (rofl) and blocks. It is a lot easier now after the changes that were made and it is possible to get a high score now. Sometimes there is a few to many fall balls, but besides that it feels (at least to me) ready for release (besides power ups)

    3. I personally prefer to tap with 2 fingers. I like to save my ammo for when i need it so tapping for one (most the time) accurate shot works better.

As a final note: yay a new theme i hope it is the dark one.

Reporting in for duty. Sorry for not being able to type my feedback, been caught up with work. Anyway, I have tried all the builds on my iPhone 4, and the latest build really feels laggy to me. The main menu, with its animation running in the background, feels real laggy. Likewise for the level selection menu, it just feels sluggish. I think previous builds didn't have this lag.

Next, gameplay. I think the game plays fine, and the concept of the gameplay is ok as well (when its not lagging). I usually just use my two fingers to launch the big ball. Aiming works ok, though maybe accuracy needs to be tuned to perfection, as I think the harder levels would require precision. There should definitely be more polish in the graphics, but at the moment, gameplay tweaking is the priority.

Will give more feedback for future builds. :)

  12. 1. There is still noticeable lag, but the menus are smoother now. The actually gameplay on the other hand...
    2. Bubblegum ODYSSEY is alright, but I'd like to see more themes to get a better feel of the variety of gameplay.
    3. I hold one finger down and tap somewhere else on the screen. It feels more natural that way.

    More Questions:
    1. Are the menus & touch controls in the menu still laggy?

Yes and No. The game itself is good but the menus are still really laggy. At least, it is for me on my 2nd gen.

    2. How does bubblegum ODYSSEY feel now? Tomorrow we will unveil a new theme to you guys, so we need lots of feedback on bubblegum ODYSSEY now!

Bubblegum ODYSSEY is great. Fun to play survival mode that has you coming back for more!

    3. How do you PLAY? Do you use 2 fingers and tap to fire big balls or do you hold one finger down, and then tap somewhere else on the screen to launch a big ball in that stream. Which do you like better for phones? Which for tablets?

I use my right index finger to move and I use my left thumb to tap to shoot the big balls.

    Important Questions for 2G USERS:
    1. How does the new, new shader work. Is the game running better? Do you still get the glitch where everything goes white?

The new shader is running perfectly. No white screen for me.

    Hope that helps. :)

no lag for me on iPod Touch 3g 32gb

as trippy as ever :) don't know if it's been mentioned yet but the music is pretty damn awesome.

    3. How do you PLAY? Do you use 2 fingers and tap to fire big balls or do you hold one finger down, and then tap somewhere else on the screen to launch a big ball in that stream. Which do you like better for phones? Which for tablets?

I use one finger mostly and the little balls because they're a lot faster.

Hey everyone. First off, thank you for your continued feedback, it's definitely helping us get the game polished in short order. Secondly, we just rolled out a midday update to try and address some of the slow down issues. Please update to the newest build as soon as possible, and let us know if you see a performance increase. Thanks again, and have fun!

Finally, time to type up my insight on the game.

    More Questions:
    1. Are the menus & touch controls in the menu still laggy? Even though I haven't posted any responses till now, I have been updating the builds when they are released. The menu is not laggy anymore on my iPod Touch 4G
    2. How does bubblegum ODYSSEY feel now? Tomorrow we will unveil a new theme to you guys, so we need lots of feedback on bubblegum ODYSSEY now!
I can pretty much safely say that the bubblegum Odyssey part of the game will be a top contender in terms of survival games on the app store. It's bright, peppy and always a good choice for those who are looking to waste a little bit of time.
    3. How do you PLAY? Do you use 2 fingers and tap to fire big balls or do you hold one finger down, and then tap somewhere else on the screen to launch a big ball in that stream. Which do you like better for phones? Which for tablets?
Don't know about anyone else, but I haven't really liked the control scheme much so far. It works, but sometimes you have to put your finger on a bubble to shoot at it, which could get in the way. However, at the moment, I play with one finger constantly on the screen (except when I have to reload) and another spontaneously tapping when needed.[/B]

Installed 0.8.3c on my iPad and played quite a number of games.

This version is by far the best build compared to previous beta. Menu is smoother now, frame rate is good and constant (previous version was highly fluctuating, thus the lag), gameplay improved with higher chance to survive (my best time for this version is 3m43s, and I think it can be more) and it is definitely more engaging now. I think I started to like this game already.

As for the control scheme, I still think it will be better to include a guide arrow for the bullets, though I am getting used to the current one. I used two fingers to launch heavy bullet, feel more natural in this way.

Can't wait for the new theme! Will keep giving my feedback on this game.

I would have to agree with nikhsterboi. The control need to be changed maybe we could try out a couple of different options to see which is better. And i can report the white screen is gone for me on my iPod 2nd Gen. Also Bubblegum ODYSSEY is great also, it is really just the controls that are making it harder. And the menus have been fixed which is great!

Hopefully they put in the tilt controls soon. It sounds interesting.
