First off, this is a mix thread, offering services and trade, but also its in the lounge because its not directly about idevice. from MacRumors on Tuesday: [found here] and then of course the adobe site [found here] I know, some will hate this very much, but I just got Flash and Photoshop, and I think learning as the community learns will be great for me! because there wont be as many tutorials expecting me to know where this is, or that is...But, if your accustomed to cs3 or cs4, i can see this being a burden! So, what are your thoughts? Im pretty excited, as MacRumors says Flash will have app store exporting!!!
so, ive been using Flash Catalyst all day, and its pretty cool! Its like that toned down version of Flash, but for artists and designers, its easy, but complex, its extremely helpful.. oh, and did i mention Flash cs5 will have export to ipod support
thanks for the embed, that looks sick!! i cant believe i have 4 posts in here, and some other kid gets quoted lol jk
The Flash-to-App thing sounds pretty excellent -- a lot of Flash content authors will be able to convert their existing apps to the iPhone/Touch quite easily. The content-aware fill thing though? Sheer, unadulterated awesome. I can't tell you how much time I've wasted doing exactly things like that manually. This will be a massive time-saver.
I'm running 7 with some additions so about the same is taken up. Adobe can run in 4 on Vista without much problem, unless you're going to be working on mural-sized image.
Finally I have more of a reason to update from CS3. It's served me well these years. I wonder how many improvements have been added to Premiere. I still find myself mostly using Final Cut, but Premiere started getting really interesting with CS4 (I've used it in demos).
