Glad to see a lot of TA alumni enjoying this. Just scrolling through my GC friend list 4 of my friends had various QS games listed as their most recently played :D

I did submit a US iTunes review, not quite as in-depth as I want but will work for now as I wrote it on my DRIVE to work!

    Glad you like it! :D

Just a heads up that I *may* have fixed the GC problem.

If you remember, I did mention that I started this nearly four years ago.

I turned off 'Log in to GC' on the title screen because I already had a log-in on the intro screen.

So I was relying on the intro screen log-in to get you started with GC.

Unfortunately, I found that the GC log-in on the intro screen was out of date. So it wasn't logging you in anywhere.

Everything else seems to be right (I checked against previous games) so I really think this is the problem.

I've switched it on when you go to the title screen now, and I'm hoping this will solve the issue!

    How embarrassing! Sorry! :(

So, right now, I'm looking at the options being saved, and hope to have that done by morning so I can send an update out!

Thanks so much for your patience, and I'll keep you updated! :D

    Cheers!

    Cool. Thanks for the update.

    ...

My oldest sons iPod 4 is acting up. Still I was able to start the game and play through the first few levels. The default settings mad the game run kind of jumpy. I'm not using the correct word but it was like frames of animation were missing. I turned off the starfield and background and the game plays fine. It's not as buttery smooth as my 4s, but it works in a more than playable fashion.

I had my middle son download it to his 4th gen touch. He has the 16gb model which runs everything better than the 8gb version. Anyway I haven't been home since then to test it but I will give it a try in about 45min. So it'll get tested there too.

Ok awesome thanks! I have a 32gb so it should run it ok. I'll wait until your other son try's it though.

Tried it on the 16gb model and it plays PERFECTLY. No need to even tweak the settings.

I didn't say it was a good game, just that it plays perfectly.

But yeah it's an awesome game. Any fans of retro arcade stuff should find this is a feast.

I think helping folks out is 80% of why I've posted on the net. Heck one of the first big things I was involved with was getting front lights into GBA systems before they came built in or the kit released.

That's awesome! Really it is. I like that kind of attitude :D

And the GBA stuff is very cool - I've modded a few original GameBoys to have backlights and better sound output. It's pretty fun!

Actually, once this update goes out I'll be building one for my musician and bundling a copy of LSDJ with it. Would be fascinating to hear what he comes up with if it grabs him :)

Couple of things I'd like to add
-the main menu = pure awesomeness (very nostalgic)
-the controls, how come more devs can't nail the controls like this. I've never had a single problem with them.
Think I'm half way through GERTOPIA (the second world) and loving it. Congrats devs on making an awesome game. Can't wait to unlock the spectrum style colour mode :D

Well, I haven't read the entire thread (though it IS on my to-do list ;) ), but has anyone mentioned there is a volume adjustment issue?

Btw, off topic, I just had an intense and amazing run on Infinite of 8524..did I mention I'm a huge fan of the Air Supply Universe? :D

    Hey all,

As I think I've mentioned, I've got the 'remembering options' pretty much done, but the volume sliders are proving a little tricky. Still working on those.

Still need to test the new build with regard to GC too.

Sorry, again, that it's taking so long! :O

I got distracted a bit by some business stuff, but I'm back on it!

Will keep you updated, as promised!

Blimey, you're playing it a lot! Thanks! :D

While doing a general bug search, I realised that if you turn on the secret character it actually screws up the earned trophies.

So forgive me, I won't reveal her till the update is out! Sorry!

I think you'll like the text adventure. I checked up on a 'walkthrough' of it yesterday (it's actually *six* years old this year) and it *Still* made me giggle, as well as those that were playing it at the time!

There'll be alterations in the updated version (it's a Director's Cut!) but the humour will remain :)

It's only a short adventure (about 10 minutes long) so will probably be given out free. I may even manage to get it playable on the web :)

While I'm here, I really should link to the actual TA review, which if you haven't seen it yet you can find here:

    http://toucharcade.com/2014/09/29/air-supply-sos-review/

Huge thanks to Shaun for that - it really just makes me smile a helluva lot reading it. Even after the first hundred times! :D

And I even got a quick mention in IGN of all places:

    http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/09/30/app-store-update-september-30-2

No idea at all how that happened. Crikey. It's all a bit surreal.

Just to let you know I'm still working on the update. Progress is being made.

As usual I made the hugely optimistic statement of 'I'll have it done by morning' yesterday, but as anyone who followed the 'making of' thread will know, things tend to take a bit longer than what I imagine they will! :O

    Cheers!

A shout out on IGN is awesome! You were with good company there!

In the 90s now with 10/20 characters unlocked. This game is hard!!! I'm starting to only make it through levels when I get the magical combo of a late UFO and a full Air. Maybe one day I'll get better at video games...
