Just selecting a team for a championship, I selected Mercedes accidentally, and Unless I can’t see it.. there is no way to go back once you have selected a team.. it would be great to have the option to go back and change team.

I modeled it, but removed it after noticing i needed more time to enrich surroundings. City tracks are quite tricky: it took me a month to model Monaco Track, I decided to focus on the development, and sacrifice some track, if the game performs well, they will all be added in the near future Nice idea will try to code it in for the next beta!! There should be a button with a red arrow inside, on the top-left part of the screen, that makes you go back in menus. There is only one case where it can’t be used:when you have to select driver after selecting a team. This is indeed a badly designed UX feature, will try to mantain the back button in that screen too Same as Singapore, above Very good driving
Fair enough, I am not a coder but I can only imagine the amount of work involved in building a full race circuit......you have done so much! Yes the screen I couldn’t get back from was the driver select screen... I only noticed tonight all the real time reflections on the cars, like when you pass under bridges etc, very nice!
I found a weird bug while I was driving the Belgian Grand Prix. First of all, drivers still get stuck at the first corner on medium AI. The second bug is the pit stop bug. If I want to drive through the pitlane, I fell through the ground and I respawned after a few seconds. This happened all the laps but at one lap, I didn’t respawned and I just kept falling down. I had to close the app to continue playing. I hope the video makes this more clear and that you can tackle this bug!
Do different teams have different vehicle performance? Cause I swear I feel like Carrari feels different compared to afg team
Yes Just like the real teams, each one has its performances. Some reach a higher top speed, because they have a weak aero package that won’t let them be the fastest in the curves. Some other have a good balance , while others will have less top speed for more downforce. Gear ratios also are different. In real formula one gear ratios are fixed across the whole season. And so it’s here. The intention is giving to the players 10 different driving style, in order for them to pick their favourite one. Another thing: power units are different too, and You can see which power units a specified car mounts in the driver selection screen. There are four different engines: Carrari H18, Wave Hybrid Spec-4, Focault Y34, AFG Hybrid M18. They sound different. They have different torque/power curves... in one of the first updates, failures will be enabled, and when this feature will be on, each car will have different failure probability, in each field (gear, turbo, engine,electrical unit..)
Good news! The new version will be live in some hour, with the following changes: -AI won’t push you from behind anymore, in 90% of the cases where they did before. -Refined racing lines in some tracks; -Colliding with another car won’t get the two cars in that “sticky” state where is difficult to steer away. -AI Cars will not get stuck between them like they did before -Wrong way bug fixed: you will be disqualified for cutting too much or going wrong way, finishing the race last. -Fixed a bug that caused “wrong way” status sometimes when pitting If you guys will confirm that the bugs are gone, this won’t be a beta... ... this is going to be the Alpha Version, and I’ll make it available for global download. And Ala Mobile will go live this weekend
Ok thanks. I also saw your post about the update and it sounds awesome! So do you mean this might be the alpha or do you mean If we find no bugs in this upcoming update then it will be an alpha?
If you test the game and find that all the bugs are fixed (well, at least the bigger ones seen before ), then I guess it’s ready for publishing Another thing I forgot to mention: In quick race now the starting order is not fixed anymore. This means that faster cars will tend to start in the best positions, but not in the same fixed positions like they did before
