I really hope it will be a big hit when it comes out because you deserve that after your hard work. I also look forward to see what will be added in the future, like weather changes and maybe even multiplayer. I used Mercedes with both wings at high speed and car height at min with mega soft tyres. Also, I was a bit corner cutting at my fastest time
Hmm, just got something weird, I did a time attack at Monza again, in the Mercedes as Hamilton, set a 1minute 24sec lap time...when I quit it showed my previous lap time from this morning, a 1minute 30sec lap.. then when I went from the lap time screen to race again, the garage was black, no car or garage on screen. It still let me select a car so I selected the Ferrari, set wings to high speed and height to minimum.. selected Monday again and then got a screen looking backwards down the main straight.. but I wasn’t in my car...
Here is the screen that appeared after hitting the green arrow at the timing result screen.. I can select car and driver like usual, just cannot see anything
In the next version, there will be time penalties when cutting too much in time attack mode, for a fair challenge These bugs will haunt me!! I will get to solve it in v 1.01 that should be live some day after the initial release thanks for reporting!!!
Maybe you can also add time penalties instead of placement penalties at every Grand Prix which is, as far as I know, also the way they do it in real F1-races.
It depends on what the issue is, some things get a time penalty, others will incur grid spot penalties. I think generally mechanical issues incur the grid spot penalty, and racing incidents incur a time based penalty
Yeah, that’s what I know too. If I have a race incident, the game gives me a 5 placement penalty which should probably be a 5 second penalty as we don’t have mechanical issues in the game.
Yes you are all right, a time penalty would be more fair from an “inspirational” point of view. Will see if I can get time penalization to work, this probably means A bit of recoding, but nothing too scary
Would it be possible to give my friend a code? His family doesn’t give him an allowance so he’s probably not going to be able to get it. I might would be able to buy it for him though a few weeks later though.
