Why do so few upcoming game ads mention the iPod touch? Most ads usually say something like "download now for your iPhone or iPad!", or "fully compatible with the iPhone 4 retina display and iPad!", and so on. Why so little love for the iPod touch?
Because more people are attracted to things mentioning the newer devices/bigger and better ones so the game sounds more cutting edge or hip.
yeah, the ipod, has it core fan base now.. its established. as the iphone/pad is still collecting in stray fish. also here in arizona they advertise the ipod all the time on the boob tube.. cant say iv seen one single iphone add on the boob tube. granted i only watch the nerd channels when i do watch tv. which aint all that offten. chris.
I used to see alot of advertising for the iTouch when it was FIRST released. But I think he means for apps in the AppStore in their info.
i have not noticed. i probably will now its been pointed out. the whole reason i even got a touch was cause of that stupid commercial showing the accelerometer. i thought that was cool as hell. damn advertising. heh. i was happy with my ipod classic up to that point. chris.
Well iPhone has always just been a term to reference the Apple Touch Devices before the iPad. This very site testifies to that under TouchArcade at the top of this page
