ChinD's post is spot on,Aralon is still the best rpg on appstore for me better than Shadowsun or oceanhorn. It really was a steal for 10$ and still remains one of my best purchases on appstore.
I believe they said that Exiles will probably run on the 4s-don't quote me on that, haha-so this game probably will, too. It's too early to know for sure. They are still a long ways away from optimizing, I think.
I'm having my fingers double crossed for iphone 4 support. Since, it's the same engine for Ravensword 2. The same thing for exiles. It's very painful too.
Ravensword 2'ran great on the 4, so Aralon 2 hopefully, but I'm worried mainly about being on the 4s and not having a taller device. That might be a factor in their support range
How about an intimidate button when trading? Buy and sell items as usual or tap the intimidate button and take a risk for a price adjustment. Successful intimidation gets you a better deal. Failed intimidation raises the price of purchasable items or lowers the value of sellable items. This would only apply to the trader you used intimidate on, all other traders would be unaffected. Of course any amount of intimidation would affect your reputation in a negative way short of becoming a criminal. Maybe there would be a few things that could happen. First failed attempt at intimidate causes the seller to laugh. Second failed attempt results in price adjustment. Third failed attempt results in trader threatening back. Fourth failed attempt trader refuses to do business with you anymore. To fix your relationship with the trader you would need to have your reputation cleared by someone like the guy in the sewers in the first Aralon. Might be kinda cool and sort of like haggling.
Neat idea, but probably beyond the scope of the game. If you're going to include something, do it right an' proper. AC3's a prime example of this. As is the third person camera in Bethesda games.
Having pets would be pretty awesome. Even having to feed them and making then sleep would make it really feel like you're actually in the game.
Last I heard Crescent Moon was shooting for a summer release for Exiles. Hopefully we can play that while we wait for Aralon 2 to be finished.
I won't probably make it this year. Early 2015 is very optimistic considering they demoed all their upcoming games but aralon at gdc. And one of those games is coming out in 2015 but already had a demo ready!
So... I wonder if their will be some sort of bounty system included? Kindve how you can become an outlaw from attacking someone In aralon 1. The reputation system in Racensword2 was kindve confusing though, so I wouldn't prefer that but each to his own.
