Anyway, I like the way Gameloft has the Xbox live rip-off scoring system but the problem is that, as far as I know, only work with their own games. I wish there was only one standard scoring system for all games, Gameloft has the best one I think. Also achievements in general are a great way to extend gameplay without adding too much content, so yeah I'm a whore...
i ususally dont even buy a game unless it has achievements or collectables or something to unlock and/or collect, sometimes leaderboards just dont cut it for me i am proud to announce YES i am an achievement whore
I couldn't give a **** about achievements. After playing Sonic Unleashed, where you had to find every f***ing sun/moon coin to move on to the next level, I just gave up. I'm pretty sure I keyed the disk, too. Just too frustrating. All I wanted were more day levels.
Not really a whore, but they're fun. If it's a game I enjoy then I'll sweep up all the achievements (or trophies) because it gives me a reason to keep playing an epic game... if I don't like the game, I'll just take 'em as they come but I'm not gonna put precious time into it. Wouldn't ever buy a game purely for achievements though.
