Hi! I'm an artist/musician looking for an coder to team up with. Just finished my first iPhone collaboration (http://www.rogueship.net/) and looking for more coder(s) to work with. After working on someone elses idea, I tought it would be cool to team up with someone who would work on my ideas. This would be a 50/50 split revenue collaboration. Heres some demos I have made: Rocket Me Home Demo (win/java required): http://gmarcade.com/game/RocketMeHomeTheRedPlanet.html Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rOAho5p364 Stream Of Life Demo (win/java required) : http://gmarcade.com/game/StreamOfLife.html Pink Monsters Prefer Fruit Demo (win/java required): http://gmarcade.com/game/PinkMonstersPreferFruit.html If you think one or more of these games has an future on the iPhone, PM me or send an e-mail to: tom.klovholt(AT)kryptisk-front.com Portfolio: http://kryptisk-front.com/
If I were you, look into a project needing you! Its easier, unless your willing to give most profits away
What does that even mean? Of course he's looking for a project that needs him, that's the entire point.
what were your experiences working on rogueship? were they not interested in your ideas? cannot use the same developers? i think stream of life has the most potential - honestly. it is kinda like those pipe games where you need to open connections to make stuff flow.. (net walk)? with some good physics, it could be very nice!. are you willing to publish with the developer? or do you want to publish on your own? mobile1up works with other devs / artists etc.. using our cross-platform engine; meaning the games are potentially available on more than just the iphone our gw games were our games first; we had to change the artwork so we outsourced/partnered with cougariron graphics and have a royalty sharing agreement. send me a PM - we can chat!
Working on Rogueship was great. The coder was really good at communicating what the game needed and how it would work. So we will still be working together with updates and new content for Rogueship, and maybe another game in the future. I just wanted to have several collaborations going at once. And I think that it would be an good thing to work with an coder who has coded similar games as the one I made. Sure, no problem.
