Yeah, didn't comb through the thread to see if the $.99 had been officially confirmed, but figured that it apparently worked with A7 so it probably would be for A8. Guess performance on the 4S vs the Nexus 7(older version) will also be a factor. Strangely A6 was great in the Nexus 7 at first but by time I reached the 7th cup, noticable slowdown began to occur. I played A6 on my 3GS and it ran smooth. So even though price isn't a concern, don't know if I'll free 2-3 gigs of space on both my 4S and N7 unless it's confirmed that they run like butter.
Yeah 99 cents inapps supposed to be like A7. I wonder how much this game has changed since E3. Dang, gotta get 4 gb free space soon. Sigh. Guess RR3 will have to say bye bye for now.
Well if this game has the same IAP system as A7 it'll blow everything out of the water. It'll probably be worth replacing RR3.
Well, playing it at E3 and assuming it is not ruined with inapps and $100 cars, this will be one of the best games on ios ever. So much funner to me than RR3, the jumping and tunnels are incredible. You can't beat this...
That picture is way too big, and I am on my iphone and can't edit it, can a mod delete it or reduce the size of the pict? Thanks.
Gameloft wins and we win. People can buy IAP's to their hearts desire if they want to progress faster, assuming it's the same system. Sure they can have the best cars day one, but in a few days others will have the best cars and stuff without paying a dime.
I'll have to check and see if I can find out on Monday. I'm not sure of the install size off the top of my head. Usually that's not something our production team tells us prior to release but it can't hurt to ask if I can find out.
$0.99 is 100% official at launch. I don't know if we have it anywhere in the press necessarily but I can assure you that'll be the cost at launch.
Sadly we haven't officially confirmed a release date for it. People are referring to the 8th based on the Nexus 7 press event.
Ok. Now I'm confused. First of all, there already was a press conference for the new Nexus 7. Secondly, there's been several articles on gaming sites (ie., not just people making guesses on forums but so called "journalists") stating the 8th, but now you're implying that that may not really be the release date?!?!? Frankly with as much hype as the game has been given and the date being published around the net, I'll be pissed if it isn't this week. And seriously what better date would their possibly be for A8 than August 8th? I should note that a quick search found tons of articles mentioning the 8th as the release date, but admittedly most of them say "releasing August 8th on Google Play" but I would seriously doubt it would be released on Android first rather than simultaneously.
Hmmm... Everyone in here seemed so positive it was releasing on the 8th, but a press event? That could mean a release event or just an upcoming event, and android? Hmmm..... Well, guess it doesn't hurt to clean up my ipad anyway, I am down to 1 gb, and whenever my ipad gets to less than 2 gb, it gets slow, really slow. So 8th or not, I am going to start cleaning it up.
I have an ipad 3, 64 gb, why would I want the same memory? I need 256 gb at the very least, or 128gb with sd card.
I will probably be frustrated if this game doesn't come out this week. I don't see why it wouldn't come out this week.
