No. Tap Studio uses preconstructed beat templates which they overlay on top of your songs, it's like downloading a stepmania step pack for each song you want to play. From what I understand most of these are user-created and the quality is terrible. Space Invaders: Infinity Gene doesn't generate the levels based on the music, but based on the MP3's tags, the genre, album title, release date, track number, etc, using these items as seeds for random level generation. This is all that any app has access to, they are not allowed to actually access the MP3 file itself as that would allow it to potentially modify files, which is something Apple doesn't want apps doing. Stop bumping this thread unless there's actual word from this developer, or there's some change in 4.0 which allows applications to fully access the contents of your music library.
