Our plan is to make one final video once the app is in submission. As for difficulty, I think we'll have you covered. Rather than difficulty settings, the design we're going for is to have optional side areas that are challenging, but can provide more powerful rewards, such as survival-mode-style monster arenas.
Seeing as how you are not going to release during december do you have any plans to incorporate gamecenter multiplayer i think that would be amazing and fun and playing with players can advance you in your single player campaign.
Survival mode sounds great! I've been following this for a really long time now, and although I've never posted here, I have been enjoying your updates, screenshots, and videos. I love real time action games, and combining it with an RPG sounds awesome. It might be a cliche, but it doesn't mean it isn't true, but I think this one's going to go far. Or in a future update, a multiplayer mode where players can fight each other's parties
We're still just polishing away, getting ever closer to release. Recently we wrapped up the tutorial level, and added a handful of new bad guys. It's gettin' there, though I'll admit a little slower than we originally hoped.
This game is going to be EPIC!!! I forgot about Game Center support and achievements? How it is with battleheart?
Gamecenter achievements is something I haven't really investigated much yet. It's new programming territory for us, and I'm honestly not sure how tricky it would be to implement. I'd like to do it, but it'll probably not make v1.0. Progress is still continuing nicely. We just wrapped up the last of our loose ends as far as systems work goes - random item drops, gold and XP are being awarded from levels, and new playable characters are steadily unlocked as you progress through the game. Every day we're knocking stuff off the to-do list, and the game is feeling more and more complete.
A good amount of your posts, including some double posts, are about beta test requests. This is against the rules, so stop.
Mika, Happy Holidays! Glad to hear the release is approaching soon. I can't wait to get my hands on Battleheart and cherish all of the hard work you've put in. Have you guys decided on a price point yet? I'm not as concerned about pricing, I was just curious. Heads up, Dead Space will probably release around the 25th (it's sequel releases) - so watch out for that one. Either way, you've got my purchase guaranteed.
