Looks awesome! I like the touch control method. Sounds intuitive.

    What's the replayability like?

At a minimum it'll take a few hours to clear every level. There's also some incentive to replay levels (particularly the survival arenas) in order to get rare random items and make your dudes even more ridiculous. It's also fairly fun to try different party combinations once your main group is pretty much "maxed". Maybe you stuck with a knight/cleric/mage/rogue party for a while, but you want to try out the monk, or maybe a no-tank group? Messing around with different combinations of classes, items and skills could keep you entertained for a while

I've been having a pretty good time seeing how far I can get with just a lone barbarian and a bunch of life-draining gear. He can solo half the game at this point (though he is pretty high level). :)

Looks Better than ever. Extremely thrilled to see it in the AppStore soon. Is there a preference to the wizard vs. The witch?

I like spell caster archetypes, so I'm torn on the pro/con for those 2 classes...

The wizard and witch overlap a bit in their role, but they still offer a few unique elements. In general, the witch is more about support and the wizard is more about damage, but they both have tools that fall into those categories.

The witch's most distinctive spell is life drain, which deals a burst of damage and automatically heals your most wounded party member for the amount inflicted. She's definitely no substitute for a true healer, but it can really add up. She also has "debilitate", which halves the damage output of an enemy for a while, which is great for hard hitting enemies (especially bosses).

The wizard's signature spells mostly involve mass damage and control, and you get to see many of them in the trailer. Meteor and thunderstorm are fairly self-explanatory, used to deal heavy damage in an area, the latter also having a knockback effect. There's time stop, which completely freezes all enemies for a few seconds, and blizzard, which merely slows everyone, but can be used more often and deals damage to boot.

You mentioned before you quit gaining new skills at level 30. Do you gain new skills automatically as you progress in level, or do you pick the skills from the skill tree I saw n the video? Can a character get all the skills available to his class?

Questions, questions, LOL. Not that the answers will sway me away from buying, just looking for gameplay tidbits while I wait for the release. :D

this is the first insta buy ive seen since sword and sworcery, this game looks astounding with tons of content, a true epic masterpiece, and it doesnt look like its going to fall short of oh ive beat the game now im done with it.. there are thousands of scenarios..

    a lone character.. 2 . x 4.. then match those up.
survival scenarios. how far can you get with no healing items etc..

is there an engine built for people to build their own scenarios or monster editors and uploadable maps?

is there plans for new classes or unlockable classes? or an expansion like time travel or something and collect warriors from different times?

like the Summoner, Gunslinger, Scientist, Monster tamer. (guy who tames monsters and you have them on your team with unique abilities)

    things of that nature?

Good to know. I'm liking that the witch class/character is for support. It's going to be nice to have a character who drains enemy HP and to distribute to the injured in the party. The witch reminds me of the Druid or Shaman class from Everquest. Not quite a wizard/Mage nor a cleric. Sits in between.

Which can be more useful strategically than others realize.

You can't have every skill equipped at once - on those skill trees you see in the trailer, you might have noticed that in each "column" of two icons, only one is lit. Basically every 5 levels you unlock a new pair of abilities, and must choose one or the other. If you played Starcraft 2's campaign, its basically the same way they handled the whole zerg/protoss research trees. Sometimes they're simple choices, like a passive armor bonus or a passive attack power bonus for the knight. Sometimes the choice might be a bit less clear-cut - for instance, a level 15 wizard must choose between thunderstorm (area-effect damage and a short knockdown) and conflagrate (single target damage and disables the victim for several seconds). Your choices will steer the character towards greater damage, survivability, or control. Your choices aren't permanent though, you can return to the skills menu and swap them at any time.

I'd definitely like to expand on the game down the road, I've already got a list of player classes, enemies and bosses I wanted to build, but simply had to cut in the interest of actually shipping it some day. There's room for it to grow if the interest is there.

Yes please, unless he's(she's) there I would LOVE some sort of Archer or Ranger class that has ofcourse a bow equipped.

I think extra character classes each with their own EXTRA random loot and special abilitys would add a whole hell of more gameplay.

So there are survival areas right?
What else is there beside the MAIN story I mean. And can you use your characters on like a 2nd harder playthrough?

Thank god that a developer understands people don't have the time to play through the entire game just to change builds. You'd be surprised at how many developers think it's cool to return to the 1995-style of no respecs.
