Oh wow, the new trailer looks amazing. I've been eagerly following this game's progress and can't wait to buy it upon release Also, I have some suggestions for future character's/classes: Swords Magician: summons different elemental swords (thunder blade, poison sabre, etc. etc.) Automaton: it's a robot Maybe uses Iron Magic? Silencer: uses magic to create seals on enemies (seals magic, attack, defense, blah blah blah)
Wow! Trailer looked great!!! Been waiting for this and was even disappointed cause I expected it to be released last December. Anyway, just got a few questions. Been a while since I've posted in this thread. So I don't know if my questions were already answered. I browsed quickly through the most recent posts, and I love that a lot of effort are being put into the different character classes. Would there be an accompanying story throughout the game? Or would it just be one background story as an introduction and then a set path across a map until the end stage? An engaging story would be awesome, but the lack thereof won't stop me from buying this game though. The gameplay looks super fun with lots and lots of stuff to do. By the way I hope the plans have not changed yet in making this a universal app. I'd love to play this on my iPad!
Looks amazing. Am certainly looking forward to this one. Love the idea of it being universal. Good choice. Sorry if this has been covered, but the thread's gotten pretty big. Is there any plan to implement Game Center support? I've found that it has become an essential requirement for me when considering my purchases...
Yeah, didn't beat Starcraft 2 but made it quite a ways through the campaign. So, I get your meaning. That's going to be fun to retry different skill combos in various levels. Thanks for all the Q&A.
I've been keeping a close eye on this thread since page 1. Like everyone else, I'm pretty pumped to see it release this week. If the gameplay is as polish as the graphics, this will hands down be one of the best games in the genre. Also, I think the price is more than fair (for the consumer), so I hope you guys never do a sale or anything. You deserve your $3 for every copy sold.
Or at least 70 % I am very exited about the idea thats its gonna be released this week... Its gonna be a hit ! For sure !
Hey, I don't know if it has been said before me, but I would like to know if you plan on adding Game Center Multiplayer? This would be freakin' awesome to play against other players' team with our "Campaign Character". Btw, I love the fact that you plan on adding much more classes. What I like in a "RPG" (if we can call it like that) is that there's a lot of choices of characters, and I completly agree with the Ranger class said above, very great idea! I'm really exited about the release and I hope it will be early in the week! You did really great job on this one (just like OMG! Pirates and Zombieville!)
@thebleeptruth - the game is very light on narrative, we set out to make a fun battle system first and foremost, not a novel. I think you'll find a little flavor and personality in the game through character bios and item descriptions, but we opted to save us both the misery of subjecting you to our vain attempts at writing fiction. Regarding gamecenter - it's on the list of stuff we'd like to do, but didn't make it for release.
I came back disappointed that this thread on the upcoming games isn't locked yet. I can't wait! Apple! Chop chop!
No biggies. I'm one for gameplay first too. And from the trailer, I think you guys did an excellent job. And I'm pretty sure with a couple of updates adding additional classes, and maybe even enemies, in the future, this will surely be a regular at the top of the charts. I'm hoping my shapeshifter suggestion from way back comes through somehow. lol. Very very much excited for the release!
I actually laughed when one of the characters in the trailer (around 1.50 mark) turned an enemy into a frog then started beating on it!
I think what I am looking forward to the most are what updates and new content you guys come up with. Even though that is understatedly premature!
Sooooooo...... Still not there? So sad... *Waiting for apple to hurry up their a** and click on approved while eating a chocolate bar filled with caramel and nougat in front of his classroom computer while the teacher is talking*!
I'm going to be upset if we end up with the usual "Oh hey, it's out in NZ. All of you US peeps can wait half a day."
I think this is only the rollout that happens if an app is approved and the developers sit on it until their "release date" arrives. If they don't schedule a release date, I believe it appears on the App Store upon approval.
