You basically launch your ship and shoot/avoid obstacles to get as far as your rope will allow unless you die first (I guess that’s what happens but I haven’t yet) then once you reach the max distance your rope will allow it deploys a net and starts reeling in. On the way back you try to catch the coins and other items in your net while avoiding obstacles and when you get back you get those coins and items to spend on upgrades for your shop. Different guns, different ship, longer rope etc Nonstickron Well-Known Member Sep 24, 2009 312 32 28 Graphic Artist / Pre-Press Central Florida http://www.rgdesignhouse.com #3 Nonstickron, Sep 19, 2019 It’s like someone said “Everyone likes rediculous fishing...do something like that but not fishing.” And then someone crapped this out. It’s cute. Controls ok. Art is polished. Has a progression system. It’s not terrible. My daughters will like it maybe. SpacePenguinBot Member Nov 15, 2013 11 1 3 #4 SpacePenguinBot, Sep 20, 2019 This is one of those games that feels like they ripped the IAP out late in development. Morbus Iff Well-Known Member Sep 9, 2010 236 33 28 #5 Morbus Iff, Sep 25, 2019 This is *exactly* how I felt about it. It's one of those perpetual upgrader systems where you start out with a high score (or a depth, or a distance, or a...) and then continually improve that high score through money-grinding and repeating-yourself. Not really my cup of tea. I was surprised to see some achievements for "ACT 1, 2, 3, 4 complete" and I was like "oh, there's a story? maybe I haven't found it yet", but nope, it's just you moving on to a new island. Kinda disappointing. moscobrew Member Sep 26, 2019 5 1 3 Male #6 moscobrew, Sep 26, 2019 Heya, I'm one of the devs here. Happy to I guess shed some light on some things and I'd also be really happy to hear how we could make things better for some of you! (If it's possible!) I guess this was meant to be a smaller game on release (as compared to some of the other titles). Story-lite as... I think massive lore ain't really our thing. We're not equipped for that currently. Production started earlier in the year, and we're still improving the game as we speak. Would love to hear more, and maybe even if some of the stuff doesn't make it into this game, it's still good to know for further games! ste86uk likes this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,000 113 #7 ste86uk, Sep 26, 2019 Hey there’s nothing wrong with the game at all it’s perfectly playable and works well for what it is. I think it’s just all the choice with arcade at the moment that this is a more casual game that’s for grinding to improve and then spend to do better next time which I’m sure some people will love. I’d usually like it if there wasn’t so much to chose from and I’m sure the right people will find the game eventually after searching through the sea of games! moscobrew Member Sep 26, 2019 5 1 3 Male #8 moscobrew, Sep 28, 2019 Ah, well, we're still working on it and QOL changes and new content will come out in time. Always happy to hear more of what we can do to make it a better game! If it aligns with what we're building, great. If not, it's really something for us to consider. We're also playing through a bunch of the Arcade games, and man, some are really top-level amazing new stuff. adamphetamine Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2011 968 31 28 Programmer/3D Modeling Bethlehem, Pa #9 adamphetamine, Sep 29, 2019 Personally I love the game. It's fun, the combat is solid, and it controls great. moscobrew likes this. MobMechanic01 New Member Nov 7, 2019 2 0 1 Male #10 MobMechanic01, Nov 7, 2019 Ok, I like the game, but I get bored with the constant grind, and how long it takes to accumulate the required items, compared to the price of all the upgrades. Not to mention, I’ve been stuck with the same ship for quite a while, and with the next upgrade constantly locked, and apparently out of range of anything I’ll be able to accomplish (without the dreaded hours & hours spent constantly grinding away and not seeing anyway to unlock the next level ship), yeah, it gets old real quick. It’s becoming one of those games where it stays on a page at the far end of the phone, only being opened occasionally, hoping that something changed, and those upgrades are easier to achieve... but then seeing that nothing has changed, and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel, puts me that much closer to just deleting this game altogether. Sorry DEV’s, but you need to get on the ball with this one, or scrap it entirely - because it’s entirely capable of being a home run, but it just feels like you’re pitching beer-pong balls to a paper straw bat, and that fence is three miles away! moscobrew Member Sep 26, 2019 5 1 3 Male #11 moscobrew, Nov 7, 2019 Always glad to hear feedback, and thank you so much for playing our game! TOTALLY spot-on feedback hahaha. We're actually on schedule to launching a QOL patch ....within the month. Upgrade prices = nerfed... and a whole buncha other things streamlined including some UI/UX fixes, art updates, some clarity about what to do next etc etc. Quick question: How many Koins do you earn per run, say early game versus late game? We realised some people aren't picking up the mechanic as easily as others. And some people are absolutely owning it. Curious about some of the numbers in the wild besides what we've seen at some of the shows we're doing. We've also got a content update next year but I don't wanna promise a date just yet. DO let us know if there's other specific stuff you find issue with or really wanna see more of. (Thanks again for the feedback!) MobMechanic01 New Member Nov 7, 2019 2 0 1 Male #12 MobMechanic01, Nov 7, 2019 When I first started playing, it was fun, had to do a little grinding to get a few upgrades. Cool. But as it drug on, it just seems like I’m stuck. I cannot stand that there is more to the game, that is clearly there - in my face, even, but with a lock that’s never coming off. I average about 80-130 “koins” per run - with a 200 koin net, 1500ft of rope, and the grabby-hands. I’ve upgraded the one gun I use most, (not sure which one it is offhand, but it looks like a shotgun shell with two bars for firing speed) to its maximum Power setting. I’d really like to see the max power on this thing, be able to break the purple barrels... or introduce a gun that IS capable of doing so, even if it takes some upgrades, to do so. The green spreadshot gun looks promising, but it’s specs are all hype, compared to its actual function in the game (useless pea shooter, that’s very slow). I’d like to see this one changed to a single spread shot, firing all 5 rounds in its 5 general directions, at once - rather than spraying like a weak garden sprinkler, one drop at a time, in a sequential pattern. Also, the levels... since you have to upgrade to certain components, to move to the next world, I would think that the next world would have bigger prizes, or more Koins, for the increased difficulty... there’s just gotta be a better reward system, for the hours spent tirelessly grinding away. Hope this all helps! I am a fan, and would like to see this game succeed... But it’s your baby, not mine. moscobrew Member Sep 26, 2019 5 1 3 Male #13 moscobrew, Dec 19, 2019 A little bit late, but we've got a patch out! (While working on new content) Patch Notes: -Many quality of life improvements -Background objects are blurred to improve depth perception. -Cuter effects and sounds for a large portion of the game! -Some sidekicks are a lot more useful. -All sidekicks are better behaved -Shop has been revamped and combined with character screen. -New 3D background for shop -Upgraded Weapon FXs -Reduced Upgrade Costing for Ships and Weapons -Some weapons were made marginally better. Do let us know if there's other things you'd be happy to see, and we can squeeze in. Weapon tweaks are possible. New weapon or 2 can be doable too. Entire new features would be tough. We'll be launching the new content early next year. If it's not in that patch, do let us know what you'd like to see anyway and we'd be happy to try and add it in a possible sequel. RallyBluWrx New Member Jan 18, 2020 1 0 1 Male #14 RallyBluWrx, Jan 18, 2020 Looking forward to new content. My son and I are enjoying playing it on Apple Arcade. One thing that would be very helpful to add to the game is explaining how to unlock new weapons and upgrades. We are currently stuck trying to figure out how the unlocking system works. Is there a manual in game or online somewhere that can help us? moscobrew Member Sep 26, 2019 5 1 3 Male #15 moscobrew, Jan 20, 2020 Heya, thanks for playing! Okay we'll see if we can get that done.
