Where does your statistics come from? Look, I have a different one: 10 copies for 19.99$ = 199.00$ 16 copies for 9.99$ = 159.84$ 1298793 for 0,99$ = 1285805$ WoW! Looks like 0.99$ is the best price for Beatmaker! I'm a marketing expert!!! WOOOOOW!
Noise.io and Beatmaker together are worth well worth the money if they're something you think you'll use. On a computer, they would cost much much more. They're not toned down either. They're really great apps.
After several weeks being on the fence about buying Beatmaker I took the plunge yesterday and got it. The next five hours flew by and the only thing which kept me from going on, was the iPhone battery. It was so much fun! I never, ever tried making music with any program or synthesizer! I only watched some videos on youtube beforehand, but within 5 minutes I was making my first, actually not bad sounding, beat. It's really easy to get the hang of the app. Although I'm using it just for messing around with it and not for serious music making, it's totally worth the 15,99/19.99$! Did you try the other apps by Amidio? Star Guitar, Star Piano and Star Melodie. Because they all feature "direct export to Intua Beatmaker" and since I tried the lite versions of them I temped to buy Guitar and Piano, but I don't know if they are really useful...
i merely meant if you go by the reviews in the us app store selling 1 copy in jul 2008 and the next in april 2009 does not make you much money !
I've got Star Melodie but had not the time to digg into it. At the first glance it seems to be something like Bloom but you have more influence on the output.
I only saw a video on youtube. It seems to be just a more complex version of bloom, which I totally love, but I can't really imaging combining the music which it is creating with beatmaker... Btw: Servus! Schön einmal einen Österreicher hier zu sehen! Und dann auch noch einen Wiener! Wie klein das Internet doch ist... Schöner Blog übrigens!
