A couple of years ago I picked up 3 A2 boards with a bunch of pens for a tenner...Wilko (UK). Not as nice as ImStrapped's photo, but they do the job well. I hang one within reach from the keys...and refer to photos of old diagrams which inevitably get wiped. The iPad is good for that (displaying old diagrams as if the pad was a piece of paper) though I would need an A2 iPad to completely replace the board!
I know there's a topic a few pages back about everyone's before and after pics. However, this topics seems more about the actual evolution of their game and not just comparison photos of what the game looked like before and then what it looked like when it shipped.
