    Criticism

Thank you guys for giving me the invite, so for I found it fun. BUT. There's a few things that you may want to improve, like:

    a) The Cutscenes were too fast for me.

    b) More Voice Acting Please

    c) For some reason (I think its just me though) but when I attack it doesn't feel like I'm actually hitting the enemies.

Just sent more invites and we have about 90 spots left out of 1000! Let me know if you have had any issues getting the build.

As far as the cutscenes, we are definitely going to do a timing pass and add a better continue button.

We actually have a big voice over session planned with Stan Lee himself, so expect a lot more of that.

Sean, I can see what your saying about feeling the hit. Right now we play a generic explosion sprite over the enemy and the enemy plays a hit animation in the direction they are facing. Think we just need to factor in the direction of the hit into both of these with maybe some additional particle effects. This is really import to us so we will get right on it.

Here are some pics from our trip to Comikaze this year, during which we actually did a panel with Stan Lee. Our design team actually worked with him on the characters for the game. http://www.f84games.com/stan-lees-hero-command-comikaze-2014 (Can't get URL formatting to work)

Same comments for me, so far. Also that first big rock guy was pretty hard for so early. He only takes a few hits but so can your character.

    A few gameplays later...

Ok after playing a few more missions, I felt this game lacks content (I know, I know its still in testflight beta) BUT... if they're going to release this at December 17, I think (at least in my opinion) it lacks a lot of content and so far there's no "definitive" things about it. So my other problems with are:

    a) Missions are the same. Beat Up every enemy and mission done. Yeah there are escort missions BUT its still beating up enemies

    b) Little to no story. (OK OK, hear me first) When I first booted this game up, it shows a cutscene, I was thinking hey, cool a story, and its Stan Lee. COOL. But after playing more missions there's barely any story.

    c) Levels and enemies feel the same. Almost every level I go to are basically kill all enemies then done. Sadly. Enemies on the other hand feel TOO WEAK after the 1st mission. When you start you get a boss fight and it was hard to a certain extent. But once I upgraded my character everything is TOO EASY

    d) Its too easy. Once I upgraded once, the whole game became easy, and each mission just seems like 1-2 minutes.

BUT this game did get a few thing right:

    a) IAP system. Its fair. I don't need to buy IAP to succeed.

    b) Energy system. Its also fair. Short gameplay=short energy recharge.

    c) It looks like theirs a lot of heroes coming soon.

And here's a few things I'd like to add in the future updates (once it gets released.)

    a) Stan Lee as a playable character.

    b) Create your own character

    c) Co-Op or Deathmatch

Thanks for the detailed feedback Sean. For this Beta we restricted gameplay to the beginning levels of Captain Steamhammer's missions. The game will launch with three playable characters followed by regular release of new characters.

At the moment our mission types include Clear the Area, VIP Escort, Collection, and Object Destruction. Our design team is working right now on balancing the progression of the player and enemies. As you mentioned, it currently fluctuates between too easy and too hard.

Our animator is currently rendering out new story cutscene sprites for our designers to build the cutscenes with. Their goal is to have a small story cutscene before every Story mission.

All of your suggestions are already on our radar as possible future updates. We are excited to be working on this game and I would love to spend the next couple of years adding new content and features to the game. In the meantime, the whole team is working away on adding as much content and polish as possible before release. Our Apple Beta review time was less than a day, so hopefully we can get an updated build out to you guys before then.

Also, for anyone else, we still have slots open for testing out the build.
