I'm confused.... Do you mean you bought the full version of the same game that you did an IAP? I never thought about that bc once I play and finish a game I delete it. For example, if I want to play Mystery Trackers:The Void again (I did an IAP purchase for this game), do I download the free version first and then click on IAP? One would think iTunes would recognize that you purchased the game, regardless of full or IAP, and let you download again (either way) free.

When BF first releases a game, they usually don't have the full version
available. Thus, IAP is the only way to go. I would think if you contacted iTunes after being charged for downloading the full version, they would credit your account. May want to try this vs paying to download the games again.

I bought Nightmare Adventures: Witch's Prison hoping for another Drawn (a wonderful title that apparently has no equal) but I can't recommend it. It started out pretty strong, but it is a bit of a buggy mess. Incorrect text frequent pops up when tapping objects, things reset strangely when resuming a game from the main menu, and the device that displays things you've seen earlier in the game has stopped working entirely. Some of the puzzles have been fun, others I've solved without having a clue how (the one with the playing cards and the eyes comes to mind). The button to skip puzzles has no confirmation dialog and I've hit it accidentally twice, which is infuriating.

I suppose for a dollar it is a decent game, but it isn't what I was hoping for. Honestly, I'd suggest Chateau de Moreau instead for anyone wanting a non-HO adventure game (and Drawn, of course).

Umm, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I normally download each Big Fish game as it comes out, and pay the $4.99 sale price that they have for the first few days to unlock it.

Once I have the game, I may not get around to playing it right away, so it's still on my iPad. Then when all of the full versions became available of $0.99, I bought the ones for the games I hadn't played yet because I prefer the full versions. That way, if I want to put the game on another device in the future, but they have pulled the game, I'll still have the full version. It's a weird quirk, but for $0.99, it's a relatively inexpensive one.

Exactly what I was thinking too. Actually I encountered that fatal
    ID badge bug
which prevented me from proceeding. Honestly I can live with minor glitches but a HUGE bug like that (which stops you from progressing onwards) is totally unacceptable from a professional developer!

I hope they are gonna release an update soon as this is actually quite a nice game to me.

I also bought Drawn during the sales though I haven't started playing it. At least now I know I still have some kind of consolation! ;)

Drawn isn't very long nor is it terribly challenging, but it has amazing amounts of atmosphere and is a joy to play while it lasts. It does have some HO sections but they fit in well with the theme of the story so I don't mind.

Funny, I didn't get that bug you mentioned in Nightmare Adventures, but the other things I've run into have taken away from my enjoyment of something that started out pretty well. One thing to keep in mind with Big Fish is that they are the publisher of these games, but not the developer for most of them.

Sorry I meant publisher too, thanks for correcting me. ;)
Actually I like this game as well as Drawn (really don't mind the length nor the difficulty). I am not a big fan of HO games that's why I only bought these two during the sales. Hope they will release an update soon!

Sale is winding down. Only a few hours left.

I finally got off my rear and picked up a few...

    • Flux Family Secrets: The Ripple Effect
    • Nick Chase 1 & 2
    • Mystery Trackers: The Void
    • Awakening: The Dreamless Castle
    • Awakening: Moonfell Wood
    • Empress of the Deep 2
    • Mahjong Towers

I think I now have almost a full BFG page on my iPad.
