    Hey there.

    It's annoying - i have a big iTunes-problem:-(.

First an introduction. My old iPhone data was on my old computer - but there iTunes crashes very often and that was annoying, so i decided to transfer all my datas(apps) onto my LapTop. That was no problem. All my Data on my iPhone are now also on my iTunes Laptop Library. But if i download an app on iTunes Laptop and i want to sync it to the iDevice, that doesn't go! I've tried it so many times, but nothing happens...

    Anyone has a solution?

    Regards from switzerland

In the application tab make sure "Sync applications" is checked.

Maybe you need the latest (3.1.2) on your device.

Or you downloaded an app that's not compatible with your device (like Arcade Reality or something)

And if all else fails, you could just re-download it for free on your ACTUAL iDevice.

I think what you are looking for is "transfer purchases" (right-click on your device in iTunes) which transfers your data, but at least for me does not seem to cause iTunes to download all the 'missing' apps to your library.

It will say "transfering ZZZ" when you sync - if you've forgotten apps you downloaded on your device, but not your computer, watch for that and download those apps.

That reminds me, I bought iStunt in the wee hours of this morning, and should go download it... ;)

Does your other data sync? e.g. email, contacts, calendars.

What about music? If nothing is syncing, then it seems there might be a problem with the device and itunes account being syncronized. If other data is syncing, just not the apps, then I'm not really sure what the problem would be. Maybe try deleting and re-installing iTunes?

It's delicious. Shouldn't you be out New Years Eve partying? You've got less than 2 hours left to soak it all in
