I might be late on this. But a very nice level. Took me about 5 minutes to get through. Fun to play.

Hmm, Okay, might go stick a checkpoint there now. And since there's gonna be a save point there, maybe slightly increase the difficulty of the jump :p

Try leaning forward near the end of the jump, then leaning back to get the back wheel down.

EDIT: Lol, got past the harder jump and can't pass it anymore >.<

Also, the pause in the editor is broken. If you pause while testing, lock your device then resume, it will freeze a bit, then resume at the EDITOR pause, rather than the TESTING pause. Also, could the big test level button count as a level test, because it is quite annoying to complete your level from there then realise you have to hit the test level button in the share section instead

Revised edition: easier jump AND extra checkpoint
    Code: AUUV
    bikebaron://AUUV

For the old version with a ragetastic jump, still: AQZH
    bikebaron://AQZH

Random comment, I beat Way of the Sun last week with a time of JUST under an hour, 59 min and 48 seconds, and 338 restarts. WOO! lol.

Thanks for the feedback. The test level button is great idea and I'll try to squeeze it into one of the next updates. The resume is much more complicated but can be done as well, so I'll put that one on TODO list too :)

Haha sorry! I haven't played as ridiculously as before after you two passed me since I knew it meant I had to improve my time on the 3 hardest levels and it was something I dread and now I see there's quite the gap. What kinds of times you got on cat 3, baron 4 and dragons teeth now that you have 17k on me? I'd like to know what's possible in those levels since I agree one of us has to pass that guy! I don't mind being behind you but not him for some reason.

I passed JB4... What a mad-hatter of a level. As hard as various sections are... you do manage to get a feel for it and manage to be more and more successful at every attempt. Except... the section between 1st and 2nd checkpoint.

Is there a real method to reach the second checkpoint? I managed to reach it in my attempt by sheer chance. After the first checkpoint, pulled in reverse, fell backwards, and tumbled all the way to the second checkpoint. Can't replicate it for my life! If someone can please help me with it (Saw the video, even there reaching the 2nd checkpoint seems accidental). No ways am I going to try and 3 star the level without getting a move to do this.

The video is pretty much how i manage to do it each time. its got to do with bouncing the back wheel off the top of the first drop part, (once done the back flip to get in right position) and landing on the second part just after the little barrel gap, and hitting the gas on that part to give enough speed to lead the nose into the gap, holding backwards lean and hitting the gas.

i still only get it 1/10 times but seems to be the technique to pass it.

That doesnt sound fun at all. To top that, for the coin, i have to keep going without activating the check point? So that if after making the lucky drop, getting the coin, if i crash any time before the 4th checkpoint... which is hard to reach in any case... i start not from the 3rd, but the 2nd checkpoint?

One more question, when i crash after collecting the first coin and start at the checkpoint after the coin, does the coin count as collected?

If you slowly go down in the beginning of the level and get the coin first, it is saved for checkpoint. Same for the third, which is a bit trickier to get before crossing checkpoint. And the second, it took me a bit to realize but the way with that is you slowly back up and end up hanging from front tire on the ledge over the coin. Once you get it, since it's on a slant it's easy to get back up with that coin saved with the second checkpoint achieved.

Congrats on those times. I give up trying to improve with times like that. Though the 57 seconds Dragon's Teeth could be within reach in the near future, 1:39 on jb4 and 36 sec on jc3 are insane times that I'll unlikely ever make, let alone record (on ipod Touch, at least). I had just uploaded a 49-second, no-crash three star video of the new JC3 before checking this thread again to see what times people were mentioning for that track, when I noticed that part of your post quoted above.

    EDIT #2 (improved time):

Joker Cat III, 3 stars (no crash) in 37.660 seconds (00:37.660) on iPod Touch.

I'm pretty sure I have close to identical times as the ones you posted ill check..

    Jb4 1:39, dragons teeth 59.5, jc3 33.8

Honestly you just need to shave a second or two off the normal levels and it will add up. I could tell you some other times if you have trouble

ha thanks man yeah its fun trying to best yourself and raise on up. luckily for me i got that ridiculous jb4 time on my first time going sub 2 and at best i think i would be able to shave it 3-4 seconds and that's a truly insane run when my one was already really good. and i just got 51sec on teeth and i really think its prone to 45ish seconds. and i've seen you mention a few times that iPad's have it easier.. not trying to ruffle your feathers but my top 3 overall score is all on my iphone and i actually think the ipad has it's negatives too (which i've played on with all the levels as well). so you can achieve the same type of times with practice on your ipod. good luck!

hmmmmmmm... i really thought all my other times were totally biitching but apparently not. i did manage to shave it down to 51sec on the teeth just now but apparently there's seconds to be had on everything else! thanks for your times good luck on catching up those few hundred on that one guy unless you already did!

ps-if you want a big jump a truly perfect dragons teeth might be anywhere from 45-50 seconds and you'd skyrocket over him in that case and would be hard for anybody to catch

I just improved my 3 star, no crash time on JC3 to 00:37.660, which is less than 2 seconds away from the time Skaz just mentioned. Now I see how <30 seconds is possible, but given that I gained next to nothing in score for shaving about 12 seconds off my previous 49 best, and given that most track-time improvements don't change my composite score at all, it wouldn't be worth my while. I'd definitely watch an iphone or ipod touch video of this level done in 30 seconds or less.

3 stars in Joker Cat 3, ~37 seconds, no crash, iPod Touch
    http://youtu.be/BBQGT8Y83LY

That could be true, but most players mention getting better times on iPad. To date I haven't seen any iPhone or iPod Touch gameplay videos besides mine, so we'll have wait and see. The iPhone 4 and 4s do have much better viewing angle/contrast compared to the non-IPS displays on 4th-generation iPod Touches, but I won't complain considering how much less the latter cost.

    Last edit:
The following unedited Youtube video of Joker Baron 4 on iPod Touch is over 19 minutes long (17:43 run on the clock). I might edit this post in the future if I ever finish and record this last level in a few minutes. I just lost it at the end and messed up a lot.

Joker Baron 4 completed in 17:43 on iPod Touch (many restarts):
    http://youtu.be/lthAYAflC3c

I saw this level for the first time about a week ago on account of mistakenly thinking that all stars in Bike Baron were required to unlock it. Otherwise I would have prioritized three-starring Dragon's Teeth earlier. and might have been able to practice Joker Baron 4 sooner instead of first spending several hours last weekend perfecting all the new levels added in the recent update.

    level

Fun level maybe for those who are fond of the hanging and falling types of courses:

    ANZH

Won't pretend it is as polished as what some have done (!). But short and simple.

Spent 17:30 on King's Castle... let's see if I can improve. Dragon's Teeth seems impossible for me :/

If only you could do an Angry Birds level -- falling blocks onto green pigs and black bomb birds as the trap-- sling shot the biker-- That would be so awesome.

    @ghostsalsa,
Nice level. Not as hard as the other levels played from the other users.. which is a good thing. I hate being too frustrated.

Be warned: extreme level. AVH3 - Snowy Hills

I don't know if it's actually extreme, or if it's hard. Please let me know what you guys think :)
