How come the IAP is like.. twice the price of the full retail game?

Makes no sense whatsoever..

 

1. Don't get the IAP then, unless someone has a gun on your head extorting you to buy it. Hey, life is more precious than 1.99$

2. Alternatively,if you do want to support the dev, which is why the IAP is there in the first place, convince yourself that the IAP is actually $.99 and game is 1.99. Amounts to the same thing. And the axiomatic economic commandment that IAP CAN NEVER BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE GAME will also hold true in your head. Then you can peacefully buy the IAP, support the dev, and it will also make sense.

3. Or, to Qwiboo, please roll out an update giving the option of $.99 IAP, so that we the gamers don't get too confused about the price points.

 

That is exactly what it is -- a way to support the devs. I'm not sure why it is even an issue. If you don't want to buy it, then don't. It is as simple as that. I feel like this thread already went through this the past couple of pages. In fact, I see SuperSah making the same comment/question in post 934... I don't understand the need to keep asking.

 

If you don't feel like paying a bit more for the devs and don't want Santa skins, then you don't HAVE to buy the IAP.

 

Not saying I won't but £1.49 for a suit is enough for 2 full games

Hope this helps some people to get the star. please note coin 3 and 4 are the hardest, 3 to get b4 hitting the checkpoint, and 4 is just hard in general!

 

I have got all the coins, but was fun watching the video. And you have the 2-min star as well? I need an hour uninterrupted with the game to get that. Haven't been able to get that time.

And great video btw. Very professional recording.

After all, it's not as if everyone can't already see how you're *supposed* to go about getting all six of the coins on that level in a single run.

 

Cheers. i think 1:33 is my best. it just a matter of doing the entire run almost without crashing, a lot of luck is involved as well. took me some time to get that, and some sore fingers... hehehe

 

I was asked to do it, so i did. just because how ur *supposed* to get the coins can already be seen, doesn't mean everyone knows how to actually get them.

 

Every time you sleep your device in editor, the app crashes. Also, pause for playthroughs in the editor still doesn't work properly, returning to the main editor when resuming the app.

Anyway, the disappearing checkpoints is getting a bit annoying. Before it happens, there is always one bug that occurs.

the checkpoints sometimes pick you up THROUGH the solid pieces, even if there are no gaps, and when this happens, after quitting, all the yellow checkpoints will be gone
