iPad 2 and Win 7 PC / iOS 5.0.1 / German App Store - no luck at all with the update, have tried about 50 times now and the download always restarts at about 10 MB until it stops with an error message that the file seems to be broken.

So apparently it's a faulty file? Dear devs, I've read your post that we should contact Apple, but 48 hours fopr a possible reply is no good - please try to have this solves earlier (submit a new file perhaps?)

 

This update is awesome.But Way of Sun should be Extreme level though...

Finally! Took about 100 tries (or at least a lot), but seems like the problem is fixed now (hopefully for everyone).

 

Got the update through the UK App Store this morning without any issues whatsoever.

 

yeah, already got all stars!! Even no crash in "way of sun".

We have one idea how to "fix" it, but still need to evaluate the impact of it. We would replace that level with some other extreme level that can be finished under 1 minute and added motherland as new level. That means you would loose the progress on motherland level. As I said not really optimal solution, but that would give everyone equal chance to be #1 in the leaderboards What do you think guys?

 

I have the same problem with the new update, can't download it and can't play while I'm waiting. In Sweden FWIW. Just cracked top 50 for the first time only to drop down to 78 the next day was kinda annoying



Regarding the Motherland issue: Is there no way to set a minimum time for the level that's around the best possible time on the level. For example, delete all times from the leaderboard under like 4.30 or whatever. I'm guessing 4.30 would me impossible? From what I read the short cut made times around 2 minutes possible?

If that's not possible I'm not sure what I think about your idea. Getting down to 5.30 on Motherland was really brutal and I'm not really sure if I have it in me to do it again

This update is still not working for me - I tried again late last night and first thing this morning (UK app store) - I still get the message 'Bike Baron could not be downloaded at this time' - I've reported the issue to apple, but I'm getting a bit pssed off with this now

 

Seeing the same problem here on the Finnish store. We'll look and see if there's anything we can do on our end. :/

 

I had the same problem all day yesterday but it finally worked this morning.
I guess you just have to keep trying.
The App store is really messing up on this one.

I barelly finished Motherland in 56 minutes barely.Don't add it again.Leave it as it is and remove it's score.Keep it this way,or leave the stars on their place

 

Is the Santa Pack just characters or is there new levels with it. I am not sure I want to spend 1.99 for new characters?
