Just out of curiosity, should we be suggesting tips on surviving in this thread? Like which weapons are better than others, good spots to camp, general strategies, etc?

Well, here are my impressions, then:

When spawning on the left (German) side of the map, it's a good idea to purchase the Kar98k first, and use it once knifing ceases to be a viable option.
When starting on the right (American) side, do not, under any circumstances, buy the Springfield. There's something weird about its iron-sights that makes it incredibly hard to get head shots with (at least for me).
If the game is like the PC version, the door dividing the two halves of the map (you know, the one that requires the power to be restored to use) is completely bullet-proof. And so are the windows. So don't waste your bullets.
After activating the power, should you choose to activate the electric field, shoot at the zombies when they're about to walk through (if you can). You don't normally get points for killing zombies with the field, so it's better to get a few points than none at all.
Juggernog should be the first choice of Perk-a-Colas, because it makes your character able to take more hits than normal. This, above any other benefit, is absolutely essential in surviving into the later rounds.
Speed Cola should be the second choice, because it increases the reload speed of your guns, which extends the usefulness of the Trench Gun and other slow-to-reload guns several rounds beyond their usual usefulness. The main reason I value this more than Double-Tap is that (in the PC version, at least) it repairs barriers faster.
Double-Tap Cola should be your third choice (or possibly your second; to be frank, they're a bit interchangeable to me and it really depends on your preference), because the increase in firing speed is a huge benefit when using, say, a shot gun or other slow-to-fire guns, but it will also make you go through ammo faster.
I'm not really a big fan of the "Revive Soda," because its use is highly conditional and usually, if one of your team-mates dies, you'll be overwhelmed anyway.
Try to have everyone use Bouncing Betties in the same general area, and use it to guard your camping spot.
The best place to place Bouncing Betties is in a narrow hallway.
If you're in a group, let the left-side (German) people handle getting to the power room. It'll be faster, easier, and cheaper for them.

That's all that I can think of for now.
