Yesterday, the news broke that the lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave hung himself. I was very upset by the news. Chris Cornell was one of my favorite musicians and I was lucky enough to see him in concert twice. He will be greatly missed. Such a massive talent gone
Saw Chris Cornell just the once in concert, but definitely very sad to see him go. Very much grew up in the grunge era, and his vocals are simply iconic. Going to go put on Black Hole Sun now...
Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, and Pearl Jam were a huge part of my teenage years. 4 out of 5 lead singers are gone now. So very sad. Chris Cornell's last solo album Higher Truth is really good too. Been listening to it a lot this past year.
