But it seems not so popular here, why? The background music makes calm and it's like a process of meditation. TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #7 TheGreatEscaper, Nov 10, 2015 Also past the first nine levels, but haven't had a lot of time to devote to this game. The difficulty is a lot higher than I expected! I like this mechanic a lot more than Kami's, this is a really solid and challenging puzzler. Really not a fan of all the forced animations between menus and levels though. Simbite Active Member Oct 5, 2015 44 0 0 Developer Poland #8 Simbite, Nov 10, 2015 Thanks! I am stuck on level 2 Chapter 2, its really hard. gaymerX Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2014 280 0 16 #12 gaymerX, Nov 10, 2015 So this is just "Kami" but with a slightly different play style and different art direction? I guess ill give it a go. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #13 cloudpuff, Nov 10, 2015 Thanks for the recommendation Roger. Have only played the first couple of levels, I'm looking forward to see how the slightly different mechanic to Kami affects difficulty. An option to opt out or skip the animations in between levels would be great, I like to jump straight to the next puzzle and it can be frustrating returning to the main menu after each level. ROGER-NL Well-Known Member May 21, 2012 4,030 340 83 Male Gamer. THE NETHERLANDS #15 ROGER-NL, Nov 10, 2015 Played the second Chapter, level 9 was clever put together. After those two Chapters you need to pay 0,99 Euro cents to get the next chapter unlocked, that Seems fair, the man of this game needs to live too Ha ha. The game is better than I first thought, first I thought its just a Kami clone, but know I see it has Some really clever puzzles. Simbite Active Member Oct 5, 2015 44 0 0 Developer Poland #16 Simbite, Nov 10, 2015 yeah I made next levels paid for 0,99 so it's like that: First 18 levels are free then if you like to play more you can unlock next 27 levels for 0,99. Glad you found this fair Simbite Active Member Oct 5, 2015 44 0 0 Developer Poland #17 Simbite, Nov 10, 2015 That's a good point, I must consider skipping animation option between playing levels. This can be annoying at the very beginning as you solve puzzles quite quickly. In later levels you will solve puzzles slower but still a good thing would be not to wait until animation ends. Simbite, however, I am having a lot of troubles with the swiping. The game is extremely slow to respond and often will just fail to recognize my swipe completely, forcing me to repeat the same movement several times until it recognizes my action. Really slow down the gameplay to the point that that the game is basically unplayable on my device. I am not seeing this being reported by other players, so I want to ask if this is on my end. Level 4 is one example where I am seeing this glitch. Why is there no undo button? The earlier levels require only a few swipes. But for later levels, an unlimited undo is an important feature. There is also a larger concern that is related to how the puzzles are generated and designed and how the solutions are discovered. Are these puzzles all handcrafted or generated algorithmically? Regardless of how the puzzles are generated, I am a bit concerned that there may be very little strategy that proves to be fruitful to attack a level once the number of color patches increases (which I assume will happen in the later levels). How do you come up with the par values for the swipes? Are these the known minimal values used in optimal solutions? I can't see how one can derive the optimal solutions without algorithmically testing all of the levels using an auto-solver. Notwithstanding how novel the game mechanic is, the game may not be fun if it proves that there is very little strategy can be learned and applied to the later (and more complicated) levels. PS: Having this said, the earlier puzzles are quite clever. 1-8 is a great example of this "cleverness". Just not sure (for now) if the rest of the game carries this same "cleverness" especially with the later and larger levels. Simbite Active Member Oct 5, 2015 44 0 0 Developer Poland #19 Simbite, Nov 11, 2015 Hi! thanks for such long response About problem with responding: what device are you using ? I noticed there are small problems in iPhone4s and bellow. If you make very fast swipes you can achieve such problem but when you will make them gently I am pretty sure you will not face them at all. But I will take a look at the problem you described in next version. The reason for no 1 move undo is that I wanted to make this game harder than other puzzlers are because it would be easier to solve puzzles with 1 move undo option. About the levels: all levels are handcrafted, I spend most time on them to make them like you said "clever". I didn't used any algorithms to create them or test them. I were just playing around with optimal solution like that : create pattern, play it until found optimal solution, add modifications to pattern to make it more complicated and hard to find solution. You don't have to be concerned about finding strategy that fits all levels for sure. I tried to let player discover strategies that helps with solving puzzles but with later levels you will need them more and more Cheers!
