Modern Combat and NOVA are both ok. At least they have a proper single-player mode with a map size that's significantly larger than a 10 by 10 room.
It always worked for me, it's just that the online does not come close to cod in any aspect. I think they just threw it out there without putting much thought into it at all, that's just my opinion. Cod zombies for me is the only game on the AppStore that is a fps and an awesome one at that, I love the single player in sandstorm but the online is just plain lame and boring.
how could a little game on the ipod touch beat a game from a huge franchise that is on ps3 and xbox????
