Just curious why Apple can't get your gift certificate ability to work? That's kinda strange. Also around here gift cards can be purchased at wallmarts and almost any other bigger store, no need to go to an Apple store. Snail mail is not a good idea, thats so 1960 ish Here's hoping today is yours and our lucky day... ps. Very sorry to hear about the flood, not a good thing.
Yeah, I forgot about that when I was posting my quick reply. Yesterday was very hectic with all the flooding. Georgia has never seen flooding like that before, not in my lifetime anyway. I don't think that Apple has a clue why my account is not working. I may have time today to go by the Apple store. I will keep everyone updated. -Brandon
If its the problem with just your account then simply create a new account in iTunes using the same credit card and buy the gift cards.
I doubt that would work. They said that it is tied to my billing address and all of my payment methods are tied to the same billing address. So anyway, I have magically made some time and will be going to the Apple store right now. I have back-to-back meetings the rest of the day, so these will be issued via PM later on tonight. The bad news: Roads were flooded and bridges were out. Ran out of time earlier today and then had back-to-back meetings. The good news: Apple figured out that there was some kind of block on our account and they removed it... FINALLY... yay! Anyway, we are sending out the prizes to those four (4) who chose gift certificates instead of paypal. The other winner (5th) was already paid by paypal. Ha... Thanks, we hope to make our money back eventually. We've invested a lot into this game because we feel like it can really be great. This is the first version and we've gotten a lot of great feedback that will go in to the updates (no charge to current owners of the game).
