Combat Arms

I wasted my entire summer on this game. When I finally got good at it (I'm not very good at videogames) I was accused of hacking and was kicked several times, only because I was good. Then it came to every game I would go into would be hacked. And paying for guns? Thats just a pain in the arse; but I do understand they have to make cash somehow.
It got boring because eventually it would take so many hours just to level up. And its not a good pick up game because if I go back to it I have to use the shitty default gun.
But even though I greatly despise it now, it was good to me. Hopefully its less hack filled. It was nice getting map and mode updates every few weeks as well.

 

Yeah, but like always, you can buy stuff with real money, but it's really not necessary at all, and having this stuff doesn't give you an advantage or make you any better of a player, except for maybe one or two guns, but there are guns of equal or better value for sale with the in game money earned from winning (or losing) battles.

 

Thats not really true. When i played, people had better armor and guns. I always hated that the person with the best gun would almost always win. Unlike mw2 where the best player wins.

 

Oh, I meant the purchased with real money guns, not the ones you could buy in game. The ones bought/rented with in-game money felt much more powerful than the default ones, and my only other gripe with this game, is that if you're using the default assault rifle, you're pretty much doomed, which isn't the case in games like COD4, in which when I played at first and got the hang of it, I could still hold my own before I even got to create my own class.

And it's updating now, so I'll play once it's done. Everyone add me in game.

 

Without a doubt. It's the only one I have since WAW on the Wii is pretty crappy from what I hear, and I don't have any way to hook my Xbox up to my internet and it can't pick up wifi, so no online right now. So I got Reflex edition, and it's insane. That's really where the best player wins. It's not dependant on equipment or level, although it does help, it matters who's good. Like I've said, I can hold my own against higher levels in COD4 with some crappy guns, but in other games like Combat Arms, you don't stand a chance unless you're the best out there.

That said, I lucked out before and got a Black Aug-Bar (or whatever that one was... I forget the name). I'm only a private, so I shouldn't even be able to purchase the weapon. It cost me 4k for the random box I got it in and I have it for 29 days . Unfortunately, my computer keeps acting retarded and takes forever to load, and then I finally got into a game and there was no sound for some reason... I'll try again.

 

Let me specify. When you get into a one v one against a player in combat arms, the player who paid real money will almost always beat the player who is running on nothing but a play money gun.
In modern warfare 2, everyone has access to the same weapons and doesnt have to pay for them. Therefore its much more equal.
Get what I'm saying?

 

If u guys have skills (and a +1.0 kdr) I would encourage you to join the clan PieSquad. It's lvl 4 and we clan war all the time. You will have to tryout if you are joining, be prepared.

 

I got pretty crappy since the last time I played... It could have been that my computer lagged, I had no sound, or was using the default loadout. Or it may have been the fact that I'm now (somewhat) good at Call of Duty 4 and havn't played in a while. I'll give it another go in a few, I just got 29 days for a gun that's above my rank.

Combat arms from the Nexon website does not have any viruses. Some virus scans just make to many mistakes. Also don't use the start button on the website use direct_start.exe in the game folder. Also reinstall combat arms.
