Just raised the record on 152 - got 990.

Also raised the record on 153 - got 991.

And level 162 I added two points to 982 (but ctay has the 984 record).

More new scores - and level records!

    168 (991 pts)
    171 (990 pts)

I've finished my run through on the iphone 4. Gonna check a couple levels ctay improved on, just to make sure. Then I'll run through again with the 3G. At least that is easier. 165 of them already have the max score of 192 so just 55 to try again.

Thanks ctay! Your improvements let me focus on a couple levels and I just bumped up level 43 another point to 989 - record too! might play with that one a little more, but at this point, even one point is a big deal!

    Update:

Yeah! Got it to 990! Probably never would have tried that level again (at least not unless I learned a new tactic) again if I didn't know you had improved your score so much on that one!

They are both on one big chart. When you go to the link above, you see the one including the 3G. Scroll down to see the one without the 3G scores. I wanted this reversed, but I had such a hassle trying to go back to the non-3G score list (it should have shown in separate tabs, but for some reason wouldn't work) that this was the quick and dirty approach.

    Ctay,

Was working on my 3G and, while I failed to win the level, I did manage to stop the timer on level 63 one point higher (992) so I'll be working on that one.

But what may be of interest to you is level 69. I suddenly raised my 3G score by 5 pts! That is also two points higher than the record on any device! So here is what I did.

First, the difference in when the timer stops seems to be based on when all those chains holding the bombs stop (essentially when they all happen to change direction at the same time). Apparently the movement is slightly different on the 3G so I had only gotten the timer to stop at 985.

On the 3G phone, raised level 63 to 992.

Trying to figure out how to get a boost on 131 now. I can get the clock to stop at 991, but all the oranges are uncovered - would take massive luck, even with lots of slo-mo.

Big K, will get you an update as soon as I get chance, (seems like a big task). I could do with seeing the high scores list (non 3G) too but it isn't under the 3G list like you said??

The non-3G list is there. When you go to the link, you see the list that includes the 3G scores. You just have to scroll down to see the other list. Not the web page, but the section with the scores. Should be scroll bars on the side of the chart. I just went to the link to make sure it is working.

It can be a big task to see if you have records, but you can simplify it. First, since I assume you have no 992 scores, that means you can scan the score list and ignore any that are 991 or above - those you can't beat. Only compare your scores to those which are 990 or less to see if you have a record.

Hey guys, I know I am a little (or very) late because I just downloaded this game. I think it's great, and not as easy as it looks. Just on level 60, way behind you guys. :)

Ahhh, found it now. I missed the scroll bars cos I was looking on my phone, found it straight away on my lap-top. I have at least 1 record at first glance, will let you know full details soon...

Just keep plugging away. I just played for fun and then notice I was in the top 10,000, which motivated me to try to get to the top 1000 - which led to the top 100 and right now I'm #2 (no way to beat #1 though).

You do have an advantage - lots of posts, some of which contain hints. Of course, you have to read through a heck of a lot to find them, but at least almost every trick is in there someplace!

Yeah, let us know the level and record score - and what strategy you used. All of us are always looking for new ideas. And sometimes a tactic can be used on other levels as well!

Okay, you're in second place - we need reports on what records you have!

Also, what levels (and their scores) are you particularly low on, if any. Some of us have levels which don't compare with our 990-991 "norms". We are always trying to find out how different hardware differs. I have a number where I'm well over 10 points behind the record - one is 19 behind! I can do everything quick enough, but the timer just won't stop on my iphone 4.

Ctay, got the level 100 score up to 991 on the 3G. Don't know if I can get it to 992, but I'll try a little while and see.

Oh, just raised level 120 to 991 on the 3G. Just luck beyond my usual tactics - the luck being when the timer stopped.

    Benjani ...
    well done dude!
    Did you get an ipod?
Although telling all is not required, it would be very polite of you to at least contact big K with any new known high score.
    :)
