Yes, we will let you know the moment its either approved or rejected. right now its in appeal. Hopefully we get an answer early this week from Apple.
Will stats be available in this game? Like k/d, w/L, time played, favorite weapon, ect. Stats like Call of Duty's Combat Record?
I'd like to know the same thing. A lot of times I'll blow all my money and wish I had saved it for something, and knowing how much to save is helpful.
kills, deaths, wins, losses, and experience, are all tracked persistently online for your game center account. Leaderboards are for 'Total Online Wins', 'Total Online Kills', 'Total Experience', and 'Survival Score'
A shame that the first three of these are based partially on time played (even with mediocre skill, a player will net large amounts of kills, wins and experience simply by playing a lot). I hope the devs add leaderboards for kill/death ratio, win/loss ratio (instead of just total wins), and xp over time (the more xp over shorter amount of time, the better), better reflecting the actual skill and accomplishments of players. (In the competitive computer/e-sport scene, this is how player skill has been tracked for many years now, and even if these measurements are lacking in themselves, they are far better than simply tracking numbers of kills and wins.)
I'm with you here as "Career Statistics" don't usually mean shoot to me as, just like you said, it doesn't reflect skill just how often you play. At the same time, I hope this won't be another IAP laden, "buy your score" kind of game that is becoming the trend these days via consumable IAPs.
this version of IAP is more based on using unlock points to purchase weapons. however, its not approved yet. so we'll see.
