Sorry if this has been answered before, but could you give us more details about the unlock points? The video said you start with 2 guns and you can get more by purchasing unlock points through IAP? Are those points also earnable through gameplay?
You can earn unlock points by ranking up, getting a friend to play, or winning daily or weekly tournaments.
OH noe iAPs. You guys r the deViiL. --------- CM is no doubt my favorite indie devs on the iOS by far. Nothing but 'wow' since Ravensword. I know I'll definitely be spending a lot of time on this one. Excited.
thanks for the kind words. This is gonna be a fun launch! I personally will be running a server on and off all day so I can take on you all! I'm not afraid to get pwned by anyone. My gamecenter id is joshCM
if you play this over 3G ( i assume it works ) how much mb does this game take let´s say per hour asking because i have a 500mb flat
Yep, they have been putting out incredible quality. After being RPG specific for a while, its great to be able to get Gears and have nearly all of their upcoming games as instabuys. Might even have to look into pocket RPG if it comes to iphone. Seems like the kind of things tat could get me into the genre.
Have I understood this correctly, devs? Is Deadlock now a competitive online shooter where you earn in-game advantages through real-world purchases? It might certainly be a sound business model, but "competitive" and buying advantages rarely mesh. This of the reasons Eliminate gained notoriety, and Archetype became so popular: in Archetype, your own skill was all that mattered. Of course, there is a certain satsifaction to just being damn good and defeating IAP players with just bare and basic means And I mut say that the free price point really widens the player base, which benefits us all. Can all and every one of those advantages eventually be earned through gameplay?
This is my first post! I just wanted to say I have been waiting for a game like this since I got my iPhone. I feel that most multiplayer games that come out on IOS are trying to hard to be like console games. I find it not as much hard as annoying to play first person shooters on a touch screen. But I love twin stick shooters. And now there is finally one coming out that has multiplayer, along with ranking up, unlocks, etc. I'm super pumped. PLEASE developers don't abandon this game. Add updates/ tweaks as needed. Also add maps, new weapons, etc. Later down in the road to keep things fresh. This game looks awesome. Can't for for midnight on Wednesday!!
I can see you've already answered that question before (though, strangely, I did not spot the answer until now. Ye olde cache delay, mayhap...). Sorry, but I suppose the answers bears reiteration It does a lot to quell my concerns, and the advantages of a larger player base might even compensate for the existence of game-altering IAP...
first game in a while to get me excited, since i'm only getting free games now. but wow this looks so epic. i'm staying till 12:01 to dwnload this
So excited for this! Do we know if there will be abilities to have friends invited onto same team? For clans and such? Really hope this game becomes popular and online is active Also Paper Monsters next! Crescent Moon are rolling out awesome games this year-keep it up
I'd like to know this as well... But I'm pretty certain I already know the answer -- "No"... But I hope I'm wrong.
