Lol, hey man I'm just saying that I enjoyed it the way it was. Sure multiplayer would be nice too, but I rarely play multiplayer in games anyway. But that's just me.
+1 on that. Good thing ngmoco is taking they're time to get ELIMINATE right while keeping us informed.
Was the multiplayer officially cancelled? Seems like everyone is jumping to conclusions here, did they actually announce that they're not adding multiplayer?
Watch them come out with multiplayer... Lol it was never in the app description too, you guys are just speculating something without the confirmation of a cancelation. They wouldnt do that when their customer base was largely waiting for this games multiplayer. Thats just way too large of an amount of money to lose (about 1.5k x $7) thats quite a large amount to lose, especially when they already are going to have servers for NOVA and are spending more money just for the appstore consumers(just look at how many games they have coming up). Think about it for awhile, they have someone that watches the appstore market more than me, that has more knowledge on this than me. Telling them almost the same thing im telling you, thy wouldnt make that mistake.
Buy a game for what it is not what it will be. Don't buy a game just for what will come later, wait and get it then.
Wow gameloft is really trying hard to loose customers! I know many people won't buy it untill multiplayer comes.
Crappy Game is Crappy Game, multiplayer would've made it a less excruciating experience indeed though. Now you feel the pain, ngmoco's level still remains unreached.
eh while it is very very disappointing to me, im not TOO upset about it. The is still beautiful and fun to play, however i hope blades finally gets some gah damn multiplayer
uuuuuh you know that it never said in the official description that there was going to be multiplayer. I would know, I checked like every day to see if they officially announced it. Yes, I did hear that on twitter they said that there was going to be multiplayer, but since i didnt see it in the description i thought they were benig shady so I didnt buy it. I bet nova wont come with multiplayer too, then people will be ticked...
For those of you who haven't gotten it yet, it's a good game and worth the money even without multiplayer. You guys should give it a try.
You know, the single player mode here is pretty fun. If you're a fan of shooters, this one is probably worth getting with or without multiplayer...

I just thought of something though, I can see them wanting to put multiplayer on this. Instead of lowering the price of the game they could just add multiplayer and keep it at the same price.

This is probably the dumbest thread ever posted. First off, how long did it take for ngmoco to create smooth online multiplayer? Over 6 months, probably more towards one year. Modern Combat has been out for less than one month, chill out guys. I get really irritated when comments like these pop up because they're just so ignorant about everything going around them. sk8erboy and all those gameloft haters out there, whatever. I bet you all to not buy one more Gameloft game, I dare you. I'll bet you won't be able to.
From the Modern Combat Twitter Account, 17 hours ago: "Still in development. I'll tell you as soon as I have more news " It's pretty clear that they're referring to multiplayer. As it has been pointed out several times already (and not just on this thread), the multiplayer update was never listed in the App description.
