Gameloft is disappointing and frustrating by not listening to customers reviews and requests. EA is far more better than them when it comes to customers responds and requests. I was on Gameloft forum telling them about their frustrating games and lack of customers needs, they banned me immediately because of many supporters I was having on their forum with criticism.
man, i'm so glad i bought modern combat for its single player. you know, the thing it was designed around to begin with.
It may have been unfair for me to use your comment as a jumping point for mine. You did write, however: The last Gameloft title I bought (NFL 2010) also promised multiplayer via update, doubt that'll be coming either. I assume that the "either" meant that you'd credited the starting premise of the thread: that somehow we had new information saying that multiplayer was not coming for Modern Combat. That's what I was referring to when I mentioned "facts," as in, there aren't any. My point is that there are already plenty of reasons for people to dislike Gameloft: their games are not original, they're short, etc. It's also clear that they blew it with Ferrari (my guess is that the sales did not warrant for them to put more effort on the title -- it's still a jerky move). But I find it irritating when people start these whinny threads that are based on zero knowledge, and others jump in as if there was something material to complain about. As far as I'm concerned, the moderators should just delete this thread.
Ahahaha I said gameloft will never follow through on their multiplayer promises, and I was flamed Edit Nevermind it doesn't see mit is officialy cancelled. But I dont think it has been started...I doubt it will ever be started
I used it twice in all 450+ of my posts...... And I was getting mad because everyone was kind of flaming gameloft and ranting on and on for no reason...
Considering that they've just said it's coming on their twitter page, my guess is that it's taking longer than they expected and don't want people getting anxious (of course, that seems to have backfired, at least on TA). I would also guess that they're developing a general infrastructure for all multiplayer games -- including NOVA -- which would be why they're taking their time with it.
My thinking exactly, they wouldnt spend alot of money on something such as gameloft live to support one game. People that dont understand the inner workings of the market, and developing will easily jump to the conclusion that they have canceled it. People need to stop being so rational and jumping the boat just because one person "thinks" that they canceled it. Again, gameloft know how big their customer base got the moment sandstorm went up (why do you think they are making NOVA?), why would they stop something that they are going to develop anyways for their next game. Think people think...
Oh wow. Everybody's getting so uptight, personal, and in each other's faces with Gameloft. 1) This is an internet forum. By yelling, screaming, insulting, etc., you are only making a fool of yourself. 2) Gameloft reserves all and any right to rescind their promises of multiplayer regardless of whatever they have said before. It doesn't matter that you leave one-star reviews or you despise them because they've made money off you and they know that the second they crank out that next game, there will be 10 more people to fill in your shoes. They are a multi-million dollar worldwide company. They won't care about your complaining and they definitely won't do anything with their products even if you do complain. You are one voice in thousands, maybe millions, who have purchased a Gameloft title. Unless you can get at least a 10% majority of that huge customer base, I doubt you'll get anything accomplished. 3) All of those people complaining about multiplayer, if your looking for it, then go play elsewhere. Not to be bashing the iDevice as a multiplayer gaming platform for FPS's, there's a lot better experiences to be had elsewhere. Until the first successful multiplayer game is released (seems like everything is hinging on Eliminate at the moment), there's not much for multiplayer FPS's or any actual multiplayer games besides Tap Tap, DinoSmash, iMech, and a few shooters here and there. The first FPS to at least create a suitable online gaming experience will be hailed and praised. 4) If you want Gameloft to come out and rush their multiplayer much like they did with RS10, then by all means, keep flaming and complaining. I for one would not want to have an incomplete and unplayable online multiplayer. It takes up more space on my iDevice. 5) Everybody complaining about the multiplayer and not buying another Gameloft game (excluding those who haven't yet), you all know you'll once again jump on the bandwagon when they either release an update and you'll be jumping up and down and setting up gaming sessions the minute they release NOVA or add multiplayer, despite your inclinations to never support or purchase another Gameloft title. Good day.
and thats your opinion... i think gameloft games are a great deal, suitable difficulty, perfect length, and lots of replay value
