Do you put apps on the front page of your iDevice?

Page 1: communication
Page 2: navigation
Page 3 & 4: utilities (calculators, settings and jazz)
Page 5: media
Page 6 & 7: games

 

I do, but it's just because my first page is my only page. I'm jailbroken so I hide all of the stock apps that I don't use that often, and I have a games folder to house all of my games. I really like the cleaner look of not having pages upon pages of apps to flip through

 

Could you post a screen of what the games folder looks like? That's actually the first picture I've ever seen that's made me wanna jailbreak, the other themes didn't impress me.

 

I keep 100 games in the folder, it scrolls up and down

 

Only the 4 that I'm currently playing. All my game apps are organized from A to Z.

 

Not quite as pristine as the main page... is it editable in any way?

 

You can theme your categories as well.

 

Yea, Categories has its fair share of problems, but for the most part its good.

scrolling vertically is a new one (for me) never heard of it o_o
how'd you make it scroll that way?

 

I might give it a shot... but knowing me I'll spend hours trying to get it to a level I'm happy with then just give up and un-jailbreak

I sort by this: Front page is default. 2nd and 3rd are paid. 4 and 5 and 6 are free and 7 is beta games. but ..who's asking

 

yeah that's how all mine work but I was asking how to make it scroll vertically. Is it just an option somewhere..I never looked at those in my folders

I'm sure it's been asked about a million times, I think I've even read the answer a few times... it just never stuck in my mind 'cause I didn't especially care.

 

Just make sure you sync with iTunes beforehand (just in case something goes wrong), otherwise everything will carry over
