Do you think it's possible for Square Enix to port FF7?

SE has already port FF1 and FF2 to iPhone, wyaht stops them from porting FF7? Sony? Did SE and Sony had a contract preventing such thing from happening like contract between Apple and AT&T? If the contract expires, SE has every right to port it to any platform they want. Also 1GB content is not big deal consider most iPod or iPhone has at least 7GB. Instead of spenting 10 years to remake FF7 on PS3 like they said they would, porting is easier than remake. Besides, Apple is a great new market for them. If FF1 and FF2 are doing well, everything will change

    Tactics would definitely be great.

We can agree on that. I think that Rebirth of Fortune has shown that the basic combat mechanic of FF Tactics can work well on an iPhone.

They should port FF VI, VII, VIII and Tactics! :D

I just wonder why Omega-Scott is whining again?

To be fair (and it pains me, believe me), his last post was 100% completely positive and whine free.

I'm more curious as to whether they'll port an FF specifically for the App Store, and if they do, how long it'll be before it's out. I and II took a while to come out, and they didn't even require any graphics or animation design-changes.

I say, it's possible and it should be done.
Would be a golden cow for them.
And a fantastic cow to play with for us :)

Im not sure who SE is, but if it is a straight port, i could see $10 being an easy price point, no cartridges, no manuals, no boxes, no shipping, no this no that...

Yes, you are right! His last post... oh, and I saw another positive post from him a few days ago, but don't remember the thread anymore. I've meant the posting before.
But overall, he acts like Michaelscott - bashing on big titles of big companies - without even having seen and played them. Dunno what he wants to archieve with this behaviour, it is just annoying to read. Prejudice is not constructive criticism.
And when S/E would announce FF Tactics, I am sure he'd find some things to complain about. ;)
